Those fists look awesome man, going through your thread has inspired me to get some Brothers-in-arms love going, and get my Devastators on the painting table today, at least for a bit before work. Truly one of the nicest Imperial Fist armies I've had the pleasure of looking at mate! Spot on job, absolutely brilliant!

I've got to go with the first guy, black on yellow. Fits the model better and looks crisper in my opinion. Either way though they look great!

I personally prefer the yellow shoulder pad, just for the sake of consistency.

Well, consistency is kind of my problem. The black arrows are all hand painted. I prefer that look as well, but no two look alike. With the black pad it adds "5th Conpany" colors and the white arrows are decals.....

My lamenters and I are very jealous of the yellow you've achieved. I've said it a couple times before but it's just so crisp and smooth, not an easy feat for that color. Keep 'em coming!

I actually found a good solution, but haven't posted a photo yet. I just put a white decal on and painted over it with black. Worked well.

I like both. Maybe keep the odd black shoulder pad for variety? Put them on Sergeants, perhaps as a nod to how the Imperial Fists and Blood Angels tag-teamed on the defense of the walls of the Emperor's Palace during the siege at the end of the Horus Heresy?

The objective markers look interesting.
That command squad + chaplain must be super expensive points-wise.
