It's the new slim-line design by the mad Magos McMurdoch.

Next up I will be building roughly 8 marines to round out my squads. Then 2 storm talons.

A fan of your thunderbolt, stormlord, objective markers, if you decide to make windshield for the cockpit, you can get a sheet of dura lar(clear plasticard), measure/cut and glue from the inside. The gun barrels could be drilled too. Keep up the great work!

Great work on the drop pod. Must have been hard doing in sub assemblies then putting it all together.

you can make a storm talon more streamlined by reducing the assault cannon mounting considerably.. if you wanted to.
your work is great, well done on the drop pod!

Thanks all! I've seen a few pics of people shortening the assembly and I like it. But honestly, building is my least favorite part of the process so I try to do it as quickly as possible. Otherwise nothing would get painted. And I don't like playing unless everything is painted. You see my conundrum....

Why all the flamers? Are they command squad marines?

They are for two squads I already have. Want Flamers for a particular list idea.

Saw this, made me think of your thread. Why are the smoke and sparks moving, but the spent casing being ejected isn't? Looks to me like some sort of heretical xenos technology is being used...

Why is there a spent casing being ejected at all?

Why is there a spent casing being ejected at all? This has been a question that goes back to 1988...

Tournament in Cheyenne WY tomorrow and had to get this guy up to speed fast. About 2 hours of work (starting from black base coat). Still WIP but should suffice for the tourney.

That is excellent speed painting there; looks amazing. Wow; you even did the whole interior in that time.
I found that its easier to paint with the pilot body not glued in place; even though mine is still way more wip than your ones...
Congratulations on the tournament win. That sounds like your army is getting tough. Good scores for painting?
