Actually in 2/3 of the games our army got shredded but we played the objectives well.
First game we just kept the knight tied up with throw away units. To score in that game you needed a unit from each teammate in a quarter to score and we focused on eliminating the DE player.
Second game we played against a double daemons army that should have butchered us but he was a poor general and we managed to tied up his heavy hitters and claim objectives.
Third game we played a Bikes/Eldar army and it was a slugfest. Won that game last turn by assaulting a unit of bikes, which pulled them off an objective and assaulting a wave serpent with THSS termies and securing that objective.

I got lucky and the explosion of death scattered away from me. Lysander killed another one in the next game and died to is reactor explosion...

Emptyhat once called my Toxic Desert Rat Monkey guard regiment 'Imperial fists in their pyjamas'; because they have catachan bodies, those gas-mask marine heads and are painted yellow.

As my new job is paying me enough so that I don't have to work on the side anymore, I will no longer be painting commissions. That means you should be seeing more Imperial Fists! Bought everything I need to finish my 2000pt army. Building phase for a while and then done painting.

Resin land raider doors! Nice but I'd prefer using the normal doors just for ease of opening them.
