Probably. I'm hoping they'll replace the World's Worst Burger King with a parking lot, since that (and a thorough power washing) is what Falls Church needs more than anything, but it'll probably be just another high-rise. Well, moderate-rise.

I was sad to see that Fail King has closed, as it was the only Burger King I know of in the area, so now I'm SOL for good fast food burgers and chicken sammiches... The area does need more parking though, especially for Spacebar trips.

Falls Church does have a pathological hatred of Fast Food places with drive-thrus. The Wendys' is the only one left.

The Taco Bell just down West Street from where Aeon's parents' house was has a drive through, and I think the McDonald's at Shreve Road and Route 7 may have a drive through, although I rarely (if ever) eat filthy-filthy Mickey-D's...

It's not so much blood glucose as leaving you a withered, befouled husk of a human being after the meal.
Also I usually see an ambulance with it's lights flashing outside that Taco Bell at least once a week during my commute, so, draw your own conclusions.

Well, someone was shot to death in its parking lot about two years ago... Being located at one of Falls Church's four major intersections probably makes it a magnet for derp & hurr.

Do you get Chicken Cottage in the US? That's much filthier than McD's. I try to avoid McDs, unless I'm really poor that week and just need cheap, hot food. Chicken Cottage is even cheaper And a hell of a lot smellier. Then I saw the sign in Chicken Cottage (the one that says 'we only change our oil every Wednesday and Saturday) and worked out why it smells so much.

We don't have that, fortunately. That's a spectacularly poor choice of names for a restaurant.

The only name for a chicken joint that I can think of that would be even more of a spectacularly poor choice would be "Chicken Choker"...

Speaking of birds, the damn peacocks are back. They'd probably be good eating... I could come over with a boomstick and some birdshot shells, and we could have a hunt in your backyard...

Then I saw the sign in Chicken Cottage (the one that says 'we only change our oil every Wednesday and Saturday) and worked out why it smells so much. That would actually be illegal here. They have to change the oil every few hours to a day according to the regs for restaurants. Not that they all do that...

Seems like a waste of oil to change it that often. Unless you're doing crazy business I guess. I bet that Chicken Choker's nasty chicken is just down to cheap meat.

How can they make sewer rats Halal?
Doesn't that mean they have to cut it's throat with a very sharp knife, drain the blood out and chant secret prayers for cleanliness over its corpse, all while only changing the oil once / week?

Certainly it would be more legitimate to make a sewer rat Halal than it would be to make a pig Halal... Wait. What?

Wow I remember when WH (and 40k) was aimed at kids and students. Now they seem to be targeting lottery winners.

Don't you have to be a lottery winner to go to uni in GB? As most grad's end up flipping burgers (way too many degrees flying around) they never earn enough to have to re pay their loans.
