Looks good, is that an Elysian laspistol I spy?
Also, you probably already were asked this, but where did that head come from?

I really like the whole one handed meltagun thing, now I'm just imagining Guard jetpack troops equipped with those. First thing I though of when I saw the shoulder pad was the painspike armor the Raiders have in Fallout 3.

Wow, thanks for all the comments, that was loads more than I was expecting! @reds - Thanks a lot! It is indeed an Elysian laspistol - I figured that if she can get her hands on a fancy meltagun, she probably found some other fancy gear in the same place! ;D The heads are from micro art studio, a small but awesome Polish company. Buy lots from them, they're fantastic! @happyorange - Thank you so much, that's an amazing compliment. I'm trying out new techniques and stuff on each model I work on, so I'm really pleased it's showing, thank you! Removed - Glad to hear it, thanks! It's a pretty simple conversion actually, so I'm sure you could knock some up for yourself really easily if you wanted to ;D Makarova (M.I.A) - I really appreciate that, especially from someone with models as original as yours. Thankyou! rarves - That would be awesome, actually! I didn't have the raiders in mind specifically when I put her together, but I have been playing a fair bit of fallout, so it probs came through subconsciously I'll have to knock up some armour made out of tires and seives and stuff to go with it now! privateflippy - Thanks! Bobulus - MORE?! The heads are from micro art studio, and there's a link above. THey have lots of awesome things! I actually made the strap a tiny bit thicker based off some comments from other people, so hopefully it looks a little sturdier now. Right now I'm painting up the limping sentinel I put together a while ago, so hopefully I'll have pics up in a few days. Thanks again for all the support everyone! ;D

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like Murphy, and I did have Murphy's law in mind with the target when I named him, so nice job picking up on it! Thanks for the tips on how to improve Holkins, too, I'll bear them in mind with whatever I end up painting next. This model is from studio McVey, and I'm planning on using her as a Harker stand-in. I've tried out some natural light photos as requested a few pages back - hopefully they're an improvement! As always, I really appreciate any comments or criticisms you guys might have - let me know how I can improve! ;D When I saw this my jaw dropped. In amazement.

Thanks so much guys, I really appreciate it! Been a bit of a slow week or so (work has been CRAZY), but here's a little bit of a sneak peek on what I'm working on at the moment. Obviously it's work in progress, but I feel like I owe you guys an update for all your input! As always, I'd love to hear what you think, and thanks so much for all the comments so far!

It for sure looks like a Sentinel named limp! I like the almost Orkish leg it has, and is part of that foot a street sign?

Thanks Rarves, I'm glad you like it ;D The foot is indeed a street sign - I was trying to get as much of a scavenged look as possible! I've actually done a little more work on the sent now, and you can probs see the leg a little better. Still not finished, but it's getting there! I'd love to know what you reckon, and sorry if the pics are a little dark - it's 1 in the morning where I am. Still getting back into a normal sleep pattern after a few night shifts

Sleep makes you weak. I thought you were doing the med-school thing. You should already know this.
Anyway, looking good. But... it won't shoot much without a gun.

Sleep is overated, haha.
For the record, these models are ridiculously good. And props on finding McVey! That model for Black is amazing! Great choice on that one, and a great paintjob to go with it! Oh, and I'm loving the Sentinel's leg. Haha, but it needs a gun, as Requiem has pointed out! Haha

@req - Haha, yeah, that's a big factor in the lack of it! I'm doing psych at the moment, and we're required to do a couple of night shifts to see how symptoms of delerium and stuff change at night. Fun stuff! The sent will get a missile launcher, I was just waiting to find one ;D This model is kind of a rebuilt derelict. Sister Galatea(M.I.A) Macala - Thanks so much, I'm glad you like them! I'll hopefully get some firepower on the sent later today.

Looking awesome. Did some white spill into the cockpit, though? Over the pilot's right shoulder... Apart from that incredibly minor thing it looks sweet

@lt. Erwin - Thanks! He does look a little sick of the jokes - you've got to be a bit of a fool to mock a guy with a missile launcher though... ReWolf - Cheers so much! You're right, and I hadn't noticed that - I'll have to sort it out before I matte spray it. Thanks for the heads up ;D @er - I know, right? Maybe if some of the other survivor groups around weren't so damned rude, they'd get on better! Next up I'm going to try and make a pretty unique guardsman for 3ff3ct's competition ;D

My apologies Scarper - for some reason I hadn't seen or commented on your thread... Not sure why that was, because... well... it's brilliant!
Anyways, I decided to rectify my ignorance by reading through the whole thing (granted I skipped some of replies etc, but I made sure to read your updates).
Your painting, modelling and greenstuffing skills have gone from strength to strength resulting in a really awesome looking style - Bravo! What I really like are the little details that you've added in - for fun, as fluff, or simply random experiments. They've really helped to add a firm feel and soul to the army - most notably the hounds, and the junkyard Sentinel.
Suffice to say, I will be keeping an eye on your work from now on - I expect to be continually impressed by your ever improving and groovy army!

igdude - I've actually only seen the (apparently) rubbish 3rd terminator movie, but thank you for the compliment! Are the other movies good? I keep meaning to give 'em a watch! @vesuvia - Ta muchly! I'm glad you like it Gabriel Lupus - Wow, what can I say? Thank you so much! I love your stuff myself (especially the card-playing banebladers!), so that means even more coming from you. I'll do my best to get a decent standard going and keep up with the random character elements - they're always the most fun bits to do anyway! Feeling pretty pressured now, which is probs a good thing in the long run Thank you again, I really appreciate the comment! Rook - Cheers man, you're very kind. Now this is totally just showing off, but I had to tell you lot about this: I just picked up probably the best deal I've ever heard of on eBay! A bunch of poorly painted, mostly damaged models were up with a terrible, pixellated picture on eBay as "mostly guard bits". I zoomed in, and thought I could see a few complete metal models in amongst the bits, so I thought I'd gamble and put in a bid. I got the whole batch for about £5, and promptly forgot about it. It arrived this morning, and I pretty much fainted when I saw what was in the box. For £5, I landed: 3 original stormtroopers and what looks like an original storm trooper vehicle driver 2 oop catachans with special weapons 2 oop cadians 2 tallarns with special weapons 3 damaged 2nd ed (I think!) bounty hunter models with 'GW 1995' stamped on the base tab Various other bits of old metal models!!! Now most of these are pretty bashed up, and many will need stripping, but I could still not be happier! I just put together this (very mocked up) platoon commander with a few of the new bits - he was the leader of one of the larger gangs that joined up when Ridgeway sent out the call, but I'll get some real fluff up probably tomorrow. He'll have a scanner of some sort in his left hand, and he's looking over the area. Do you guys like the look, or is it too cheesy? I can't shake the feeling that he looks like he's just flexing! ;D /bragging
