Hahaha, thanks guys! I'm into placements at medical school now, so looooong working days and pretty long working evenings too. Fun times! This means work is pretty slow, but I will get through everyone eventually. I'll give highlights a bash, but I'm also trying out the dmage effect that Morat ever so kindly provided, so we'll see what wins out Next up on my table is actually going to be my company commander, Ridgeway, but I think after that it's probably going to be Helmian or Druchi. Thanks so much Req! Glad to know I was missed I do plan to be around, just maybe a little less than before :/ Here's a mock up of my company commander - The hunting dogs make an appearance throughout my army, but I'm hoping he looks like he has more of a 'sit back and plan' style of command than the seemingly more popular 'run screaming at the enemy with a big glowy sword' technique. What dya reckon?  GS work and a tissue paper tattered cloak still to come (and i WILL remember the mould lines this time ) |

Thanks Mark! I'm really glad you like it, apologies it took so long to do! @happyorange - the dogs are actually 10mm 'giant wolves' from a company called Copplestone Castings ( linkage), but they fit the scale perfectly (though they do come to attached to some annoying metal bases and need some clipperwork to remove) @kerby - You're dead on with the sentinel pilot hand, though i clipped a lever bit off the bottom to make it look more like an auspex type thing as well. And you were saying something about not having any mohawk headed tatooed nutjobs? OH REALLY?! Sorry, I like challenges |

Hahaha, sorry Helmian, got another guy made up for you - I'll get round to painting it pretty soon. This is Ridgeway so far (and Lobo, his canine buddy), but I'm stuck on how to base him. Could I get some ideas from you lot? He's going on a small base, but I don't want it to look cluttered  Apologies for the quality of these pics, they seem to have leached out all the colours (seriously, i spent ages layering the dog). Still, it's dark outside now, and i really wanted to get him online without waiting til tomorrow ;D    As always, please let me know what you think, I've still got time to change him up a bit |

looking cool. Only thing I can think of is that his wrist could do with some... ....fixing? It looks a bit broken . Very cool though. Make sure you take a pic outside, so we can see this dog's layers ;D |

Yeah, I noticed that too. Most of his forearm is green stuff, and I ended up glueing the hand to the dog at the wrong frigging angle so it was really awkward to do. Live and learn, I guess. Thanks for the compliments though! I was going for an unusual commander, and I'm hoping it's kind of worked out.
You can't really see from any of the photos, but Lobo is actually partly cybernetic too - he's got a bionic left eye, and an instrument panel just behind it ;D
