wow....amazing!
Question- Are you or have you put much thought into any additional rules for the angry lizards? It would seem that the rider could effectively use these dinosaurs natural weapons in battle. Just a thought!

The wyverns help to parry incoming blows, thus raising the initiative to five on the charge. The same with the shields.
They are also strong enough to hit tanks like krak grenades.

Very groovy Rough Riders! I keep getting tempted to make a rough rider unit - either Lizard-riders or bikers - but I don't "really" have space in my FOC for them... unless I put my two Hellhounds together in a squadron... which I'm a bit loathe to do. Has anyone tried a Squadron of Hellhounds? How do they perform?

Like very angry overkill. Don't do it unless you're fighting MEQs.

Sounds like good advice - and pretty much what I expected really. Though that does mean I'm counting out Rough Riders... ah well, never mind

Yup... a year ago I had a kasrkin squad, two penal legion squads, and two normal squads painted.
*Checks*
Hrm... I haven't done very much in the way of painting. But I've assembled some stuff, and purchased almost everything I'll ever need for all my armies. That counts for something. I'll try to do something and post a pic before too long. Maybe a sentinel. Took a wrong turn with the valk, and now I'm scratching my head on how to undo it, so that'll be longer.

Depends how much you need to undo... and what needs undoing... is it a case of reundercoating and starting again, or do you want to try to avoid that?

Took a wrong turn with the valk, and now I'm scratching my head on how to undo it, so that'll be longer. Me too, the paint job was baaaaad . I'm thinking of a bucket and some dettol, take the paint off and re-spraying.

Or nail varnish remover - that works real well, and is cheap Fixed, you filthy heretic. Good is not an adverb. Now, as for updates... Every time I say I'm going to update, someone dies. And no, I'm not kidding, unfortunately. So I won't make a date, you'll just have to wait for it. But I am working on stuff, so... don't hold your breath or anything, but you can expect some, sometime.

I was doing a bad impression of an accent (ah yeah, real good ) You also wouldn't say "real well" - it would be "real ly well"... so looks like we're both heretics... *Covers both himself and Req with petrol then sets himself on fire a dives on Req* Oh, and as far as the updates go - you have to break some eggs to make an omelette...

It was after my bedtime when I posted, in my defense. I'm not going to catch everything.
And... eggs?

Not really into posting WsIP, but you all deserve an update of some kind. Even if neither of these if part of my IG. Canoness! And Corellia from my fluff.

ah... the surprisingly useless inferno pistol (in my humbe opinion)... you've got to love the idea of it...

I am also a little curious about which company makes that model, and if we can get a picture of her standing next to a guardsman, for scale.
Yikes, Req's got SoBs! (Now moisten up those brushes and get at em!)

That's a groovy looking model... where's it from? privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/mercenaries/units/lady-aiyana-master-holtMine has the elf ears ground off of her, and the spots turned to hair. Haha! You can't even tell that they were there. And they really should have given a pic of the rear of the minis, as those are nice as well. ah... the surprisingly useless inferno pistol (in my humbe opinion)... you've got to love the idea of it... More useful when she's flying at you. And Corellia is just a bit taller than a guardsman. Easily explained away by her stance - not slouched at all, unlike almost all the GW minis. Also, I made a picture of her a while ago, and I'm very pleased to tell you that the face is almost the same, so that's quite the win, there.

I suppose if she had a jump pack, that could probably make the pistol more effective...
I really like the inferno pistol... just... something doesn't seem to work on it. Maybe the range? I'd be willing to argue that it should have the same range as a meltagun (an advantaged balanced out by it's cost) or make it AP2 or something... I don't know...

It is AP2. And it gets an extra D6 without the melta rule.
Yup. The WH codex is older than something as seemingly-basic as the melta rule.
