From GW Planet Strike This summer, decide the fate of worlds: Planet Strike is a brand-new way of waging war in the 41st millennium. Tear a planet from an opponent's grasp or annihilate an army of crazed invaders as you take part in gut-wrenching planetary invasions.

Wow! Sweeeet! I love additional rules sets!
Stabswhiskers mentioned something about there "being a reason why the front cover has great coat guardsmen on it" which makes me wonder - re-release of pewter Valhallans? PLASTIC Valhlallans? What! WHAT!? I want to know!

Better yet, plastic DKok!?
Although if I had to bet it'd be Steel Legion. Meh, they don't excite me as much.

We all know that there will be no DKoK, however a plastic valhallan/steel legion kit doesn't sound THAT far fetched. ;D

I'm not sure, planetstrike may be a mighty empires kinda thing. Recent WD have talked about a 40k version being worked on for the world of Armageddon. If this doesn't sound like planetstrike, what does?

Only Armageddon? Well, that seems a bit limiting. So only Imperium, Orkz, and maybe Chaos? Then again, that's just my interpretation. Though, truly, any 40k version of Mighty Empires will be cool. @graenis: The cover art can be seen on BoLS for a moment in the video, and some other place as well, but I have forgotten.

*takes a close look at cover*
Looks like Valhallans to me. -No rebreathers, so probably not steel legion. -White greatcoats, snow? -Russkie-style hats
The only rumor I've heard about guard concerning planetstrike is plastic stormies, so I wouldn't get my hopes up about new trooper plastics.

Maybe they're greatcoat plastic stormies riding emus! lol
greatcoat stormies? what would they look like? doesn't it defeat the purpose of making guys in carapace armour if you put a greatcoat over it?

i mean when it comes out
and by hiding the armor the enamey will under estamate you
always lie about your army if you are weak say that you are strong if you are strong say that you are weak

The problem with that tactic is eventually the enemy will catch on and know that the reverse of what you say is true. So the best method is to throw some truth into the mix, just to confuse them.
