On a lighter note, your spelling was so foul, I could not bear to correct it. Please do so yourself.

Based on WILLEM's avatar, I'd hazard a guess that english is his second language.
Once again about the new race rumor: need official sources or its untrue.

I distinctly remember reading in a White Dwarf about an amazingly converted Adeptus Mechanicus army using the Lost and the Damned rules. They used Big Mutants for weapon servitors, Arch Heretic for an amazingly converted Adept leader, traitors for Skitarii and so forth. From what I read it worked really well (rules vs fluff wise). Just another reason why GW makes sad when they killed the LatD list. I don’t know if this board will consider this sin, but I read through this thread and came up with the following remarks *braces for Inquisitorial kill-team to drag me off*: I think an interesting army might be Humans living outside of Imperial Space. Like Rogue traders, Pirates, mercenaries ect. I could def get behind that! Just think of the cool and interesting models. *Sigh* Lost and the Damned Lost and the Damned Lost and the Damned! I thought it was odd too that in the 4th Gen codex there was a strategy rating for an “Alien Hunters” race. So much for that. The best laid plans of mice and abhumans… Hrud seems like a good idea. They've been around, and then there were these massive fur-beasties, and some Loxatl. Codex: Random Aliens from the 3rd Ed Rulebook sounds like a good idea. Or maybe Codex: Traitor Guard. It was called Lost and the Damned (it sounds like I’m whining, blast!) White Dwarf had a field day of it. They even made a hrud model for laughs, counting it as a guardsmen. I seem to remember them saying something about them being a plasma-heavy force because of the fluff. it probubley was true isent there any norwegons on this forum who can tell us the point is 2 spikes are beter than 1 I am Norwegian, as well as being Asatru, so I feel it is my right to answer this poorly spelled question. No, Scandinavian warriors from the “Viking Age” (800 AD-1100 AD, roughly) did NOT wear any silly hats like that into battle. There are accounts and findings that lead us to believe that horned helmets were used in ceremonial practices to represent the Gods, but nothing of that draws the common picture of a screaming doof running at you with the better part of a cow on his head. Well… come to think of it *imagines Khorne Berserker conversion*

Here's my Tuppence worth - how about Genestealer Cult? There was an Army list published in WD for RT, many moons ago... Now, with the Planetfall Supplement coming in...

As I recall, BoLS did a mini-dex. Now, given how GW have, in the guard codex, basically made off with everything that they compiled so handily in their Macharian Crusade dex, then I think it eminently likely that a 'Stealer cult list will be possible. Though I think that as a sort of 'Anti-Inquisition' codex - a codex of muties, rogue psykers, mobs and hideous monstrosities, then it would work.

TX RT - after all, I've found out through the years that this game is Cyclical - if you wait long enough, good ideas tend to come back... (as a side note RT, check your Hotmail account!)

If it doesn't work we'll resort to our usual methods. I figured it was at least worth a try. If not, the gestapowagen is standing by:

I read over all these wants for a new race and while I agree it would be nice to have a new flavor added to the mix, I also agree that the existing races need to be brought up to scratch. At the same time though I think we as players need to stop whining about not having the bestest special rules or the most bad-ass dudes. I think that if GW would honestly look over all its special rules you could break them down in to a group of maybe 20-30 special rules that could then be used as count as for each race. the nice thing about doing this would be everyone would have the same special rules. Now you may not have access to them all for a set unit, but you'd know what they are. What so many vet. players hate about GW is the constant change. for example I remember when Rendering fire had follow up shots (anyone else remember that?) that was bad ass!!
Also I think a lot of use could benefit just from using our imagination and getting permission from your opponent to combine codex. for example you want: Lost and the damned type army: IG+Daemon+CSM=LATD Human Pirates with Technology to assist: Tau+IG= Pirates Heresy Era SM: CSM+ SM+ whatever special codex= Heresy SM Funky aliens from planet bob: Nids+ Eldar= funky aliens
some might say it would be out of balance, well id say what in 40K in the last 15 years has been balanced? besides we do it with Apoc. the reality is no matter what you want to do in the 40K world if you want it bad enough you can do it. there are enough rules to bend to your will in some shape or form. do it, just get your opponents permission and remember the number one rule of gaming. have fun!

That is essentially what they're doing with the universal special rules.
Combining different bananas (see Aeon's siggy) is very imbalanced though. Calgar + Assault terminators in a LR with Baneblades and LRMBT squadrons. Cheese-Steamroller.

That's different, in that case you have multiple legal FOC's. I think he meant use multiple dex's to make one FOC. (id est, Smurf Tac Squad and an IG platoon for two troop choices, GK termie squad with Captain for HQ).

But there's also a more or less official rule that everything in Apocalypse has to make some kind of remote sense.
