So she looks a little freaky...I have seen worse though.(Not porn...at least I don't recall it being porn.)
So yeah...that Battle Sister looks a bit like a skanked out crack hooker... but look at everything in the background, there is some good stuff back there! (I like the SoB with the heavy bolter for example.)

And yet, the obvious highlight of the image is ugly as sin and doesn't look like how the Sororitas are invisioned in every other piece of art, even fan-art does it better than that. The first two images are far better.

I think I just might take three over two...simply for the gritty factor and depth that I love so much about 40k.
Number one is hands down by far the best though.

Artistic license has its privilage. Too bad the pics tend to look bad when they do.
I agree with Melissa on the toothpick thing, but if you remember back when that pic was done Sisters were a new army and they were trying to get 13 and 14 year old boys to start playing the army.
I think the artwork did its job back then. Too bad that not enough art work was done for the Sisters.

I especially like the Sororitas holding the multi-melta in the background. The Sororitas on the left looks nice, the "corset" looks more like metal plates (which is how I paint my own models).

Once I finish the 1/6 scale sister I am doing I will have to post pics of it. I'm doing the 1/6 as a mock up for a full scale model in the near future.

All I heard in the last two pages was "corset" and "porn."
The first pic is the best.

Plastic SoB would be tremendous! Plastics are so much cheaper and easier to modify!

That'd be a veritable statue. You might as well just make a plastic suit of armor with stainless steel plates (for the shiny metallic look with reduced weight for it being mostly plastic) for someone to wear.

That dear is why I am making a vaccuum table as well this summer. Extra time and money on my hands. Just need willing women for modeling. And yes she will be a statue. Will be making her based off a store manequin

Although the vacuum table is much more useful in the long term.

Melissia: The Grey Knights have always been part of the Ordo Malleus. What bugs me about them is that they gave them Power Armour. According to the original fluff, the entire Chapter had Terminator Suits. As for the rest, I'm not saying what should be, I'm just saying what GW is going to do. Jervis wants to do a combined Inq Dex, so that's what we're going to get. I actually think they should go for what was being considered towards the end of 2nd Ed, and do a Codex: Imperial Allies. There are a ton of great Units and portions of the Imperium that don't have enough depth to stand as an Army on their own, but would be great as add-ins to others. I was thinking more of a CC Attack for the Poison stuff. Something like: Poison Spines: The Creature's CC Attacks count as Poisoned Attacks. Costs +5 Points if combined with Rending Claws. you'd be trading off the extra Attack from a pair of ScyTals, so it should be reasonably balanced. For the Acid Spray, I don't know about Points Costs, but I was thinking more or less: S: Creature -1 (Max 6) AP:5 Range: Template Available as one of the "Special" Weapon options for Warriors, and for Tyrants and Fexen. make the AP 6, Tyranids arent known for there ranged waponry. offtopicness: if you really think about it, with the amount of Termie armour there is, youd think that with GW saying they are supa rare, and always salvaged, that would make Termies basically extinct. man i really think they should change some of the fluff. -Panzer

Nids have plenty of AP5, especially at close range, and I figure a burst of Acid that's catching five or six guys is probably going to splash around enough of the Flack Armour that it's basically worthless.
That first SoB pic is one of my favorite pieces of 40K art. Great pic. There's another one from the 3rd Ed Rulebook that I think might be the same artist that I really like as well.
I kinda like some of John Blanche's backgrounds, but the focal figures of his pics always bug me. And the proportions of his weapons are just ridiculous. A friend of mine once made a couple of "John Blanche Space Marines" with Heavy Bolters used as regular Bolters, some slightly cut down ones as Bolt Pistols, and some crazy huge Chainswords he got from somewhere.

LOL No you pay a model or convince a woman to let you do a body cast and then build the armor to the body cast to make the form that is used on the table. Hope it works out.

Panzerkrieg: GW's fluff regarding Space Marines has never been particularly intelligently put together.

You mean as opposed to space elf bike riding ninjas, space teleporting undead who serve shapeshifting space undead vampire gods and space homicidal fungi and space daemons?
Really?
GW's entire fluff is not susposed to make sense. Where did you expect them to make sense? They never have for all factions. Need I remind you of Chenkov and his stupidity?
GW has never made sense for any of it's armies. Need I remind you when the necrons came out and it turned out the C'tan where behind everything?

Or the ability to give Straken an order from one of the Platoon Commanders? I think of that as the PCS having better intel and forwarding it as a suggestion. The fluff makes sense as science-fiction. It's when they start contradicting themselves that it gets annoying.

Because obviously gree, utterly idiotic four-word summaries of a race really get into the details of it and completely make sense. Shutup already, you're making yourself look silly.
