Howzabout we not upset Gree. That's how six page long arguments about SoBs vs something else begin... Prolly just as well, I didn't really plan on doing anything other than trolling him and mocking his beliefs anyway. Back on topic... I guess? One thing that always annoyed me about 'nids is how they looked basicly like humanoid bugs/lizards... would have been better if they looked less human somehow...

How the hell can you related to a hormagaunt? It has no personality, no intelligence, it's a biological construct designed to kill everything in sight. It's less than a beast.

So in otherwords Melissia it's a bug.
If we look at our own world as it is (I know big no no) we see that we have insects that do pretty much the same thing. The difference is that in 40K we are seeing them on a truly epic scale in size to what we see in our own back yards.
Army Ants are known to go on foraging raids that can clear miles of jungle of leaves, and animals that are unlucky enough to be caught in the endless single mindedness of the ants.
Poke a stick in a fire ant mound and you illicit the response of hundreds if not thousands of the things to attack. Bees will swarm to protect their hive and queen... The list of examples goes on and on.
Nid have come a long way in their apperance since the 2nd Edition models. You actually do see an Evolution to them which is quite amazing. I am looking forward to seeing the next incarnation of them as they continue to meet with newer races. I also am looking forward to the hopes that the Genestealer cults making a come back as a playable army.

You completely missed the point ssgtdude, which was that gaunts and other Tyranids look far too human. THey need to look more insectoid, more lizardlike, etc, and less humanoid... less like "humanoid lizards with insectoid features".

Because obviously gree, utterly idiotic four-word summaries of a race really get into the details of it and completely make sense. Shutup already, you're making yourself look silly. One comment that was not even directed at you and you are already off the kilter? Jesus Christ. I was talking to everyone. It's pretty obvious this is coming from your own personal dislike than any rational point at all. If you want to flame me do it on a PM. Seriously, what the hell is your problem? You never opposed me before, then I start have a different opinion and you go bats**t. What did I do? Kick your dog? Ram your car? Crash your party? What? Orks are space fungi, we know that, eldar are space elves, we know that, daemons are space daemons, we know that, necrons are space undead, we know that. Marines are space monk knights, he know that. Tyranids are alien space bugs, we know that Or are telling me that four editions of fluff are wrong? I mean, I can go into a long-page essay about why exactly orks cannot have animal and mammal traits despite being fungi and why the Eldar give their Guardians poor weapons and armor and why daemons even exist. And don't even give me started on why the C'tan are appearantly behind everything that ever happened in the fluff for about two editions worth. But I don't. If you really want to flame me then do it on a PM, otherwise don't bother me with this bullsh*it.

As I have said numerous times, my default response to you is mockery and trolling, because I have zero respect for you as a human being. I don't expect you to understand why (or expect you to be capable of understanding why for that matter), and it's really irrelevant. For that matter I don't even bother to read your posts (I certainly didn't read your little rant there) the majority of the time.
Also, I actually laughed when you said "not even directed at you". Good story brah.

I already summed it up for you. I have zero respect for you as a human being. There are numerous reasons for this, and I really don't give a damn enough to explain them to you. Possibly because... I have zero respect for you as a human being.

Okay, that's it. The Melissia vs. Gree war is hereby declared to be closed. Both of you just earned yourselves two days suspension to cool off. If you feel capable of behaving with some modicum of civility to one another, then you may return.
