Not trying to ninja you, just playing the natural reaction. A Guard Commander would wonder why there are casualties on one of the only serviceable landing points, especially when other facilities (ranging from Chimeras w/medkits to field hospitals) are available. I also assumed the Starport was still fairly intact, since the plan (as discussed) was to be able to use it right after we captured it. Melissia did too, I think, as she's turned it into a major hub of troop movements. My apologies, though, I won't do it in the future. Reds Well, I guess we won't be landing 1st company any time soon....

No problems, it's just that, if you check my post, I can't set up Medi-facilities because there's still an Ork prescene at one end of the starport, the majority of the port is a cratered, shot-up mess, simply because you don't take a heavily-defended position and leave it standing in war. Not unless you have massive, massive surprise, shock and force superiority, and we only had the one.
So, basically, Lucan is annoyed that the one place he could safely land his MediValks (the shielded landing platform) is taken.
Also, I wanted some tension between the gung-ho Lucan and the Outcasts.

They will, it'l just take longer than it should have because of RT's forces reducing the efficiency of the landing.

*Resists urge to drop pod down onto landing pad* In all seriousness, I wouldn't drop pod onto a landing pad. It'd be more lethal to my forces than it would be to everyone elses.... I also like how Lucan called Captain Nickar "Guardsman"

RT: Why not ask for help and have your wounded put in chimeras? They'd be in air conditioned space with ready medical supplies, and not taking up any more space than the chimeras were. Would only have taken a trio of chimeras at most.

Since the Orks are steadily being pushed out, I could have my reserve platoon start setting up field hospitals...

Good idea. Just have them pick a relatively intact building and set up there.

What relatively intact building?
"Cratered, smoking ruin". It's not as if multiple rocket-pods, demoltion charges, hellfury missiles and so on are very accurate weapons at the best of time.
Oh, well, I'll call in some chimera medivac.
P.S Look, if you're not going to RP through the characters you posted in the front, or post them up on the front page of the RP, then expect Lucan to simply assume that if they're not a listed officer, they're a Guardsman.

We did not reduce an entire factory city to rubble.

Not the city, the spaceport. And in fairness, I did blaze a half-mile trail of destruction through it.

Good...Because I'm setting up in the city.....
Also, Nickar is a listed Captain on here. I actually ASKED Melissia, she gave the go ahead, and I put 4th company up, in exchange for whatever reinforcements would've been alotted to 1st company.

Correct, although as usual you can reinforce your companies with fresh conscripts, which the Crusade has plenty of.

Eh. Wouldn't fit my fluff.
That, and I'm really not good with Conscripts.....

I might take you up on that to some extent, once I figure out my casualties. Can I assume we also have access to replacement tanks, or is that in shorter supply?

They are in shorter supply now that the main force has moved off to assist Shibara III. Essentially, there will be red tape where they will want the crew to prove that their previous vehicle is indeed damaged beyond repair, and all the paperwork involved in that. Basicly, you'll get them... in time.

Nope. I parked them from where we advanced. The Orks retreated in the opposite direction.

Correct, we moved south from the northwest fort, to the southwest city. THe Orks moved southwest out fo the city.

You know how Commissars tend to make soldiers a bit nervous?
This one's an Ork ontop of that. And he has a large storm bolter that he holds like a pistol.

*Looks up at my forces*
Well, not really. It's not a real commissar, and it's merely another ugly Xenos. And they've killed bigger and uglier, I don't doubt.
