RT: There's a difference between nervous and scared....

I mean... a grenade will make me nervous. A grenade without its pin will make me scared. Get the idea? Nervous is mostly referring to a state of paranoia, or anticipating something bad happening. It's a perfectly acceptable and indeed common emotion for soldiers, no matter how veteran.

Possibly edgy. Most of the time though, soldiers aren't edgy when facing a Xenos - they're too psyched up to actually be scared.

I suppose it depends on both the soldiers and the xenos in question.
This one has a particularly big and nasty gun, and he was shown to have just laughed off a lasgun shot.

"Wary" may be the term we're looking for here. The Soldiers are a bit uneasy that, after fighting Orks in a rather bloody battle for the city, this one popped out of the ground, claiming to be their friend, and is sitting there, not bothered by the dozen or so armed troopers around it, cleaning it's weapon.
I could see why that's a little unnerving, especially if these are the green recruits who just arrived.

But that's the point. They're not. They are my men, who are as steely-eyed, cold-blooded and as crazy a band of men in the army. The Green recruits are nowhere near your position, they're all blowing up the remaining Orks.
P.S Bye. Must sleep now.

Besides, he's fun. And he has a way with words unique to the Orks.
Normally people wouldn't care if someone's unpleased. They care when Groknar's around. And they most certainly don't want him upset.

I agree...my guys are to disiplined to try to upset him...he said he was sent by supiriors, and Lucan's guys didn't kill it, so they don't really care....

Okay guys, since I can't post as often, I'm going to have Dunbar go over the plan for the next city tomorrow, so everyone can marshal their forces, so we can jump into the atack when I get my comp back.

Roleplay wil continue once Reds is able to more regularly post. Consider this a short break.
Or you could take this chance to roleplay character interactions.

Cargo 8's are like the standard canvas-backed troop transport trucks the military uses today. I asked Melissia about the possibility of welding armour and some Stubbers on to them, but it got shot down. Tech-Heresy and all that. @all: That little broadcast is Dunbar's way of dealing with what he sees as a potential looting epidemic among the task force, which he is taking (somewhat drastic) measures to end immediately, lest it lead to a break-down in discipline. @rt: Have Lucan talk to Dunbar. It would be a bad idea to have him be arrogant or rude. @kai: Give RT's troops another chance to stand down. Reds

Okay, I'm getting p!ssed off here. Firstly, I do not need permission from supreme command, Reds, to order my men to resupply themselves, nor do I need it to find a shipping manifest. It also a well-documented fact that Salvar Chem-Dogs are permitted to loot the fallen when they join the Guard, so I'm just going to ignore all this until the rest of you stop acting like a band of boy scouts, rather than soldiers.

Go ahead, ignore us and go hide in a corner somewhere, just because YOU don't like my regiment's attitude. I sure as hell don't like your regiment's attitude, but at least I can damn well show your regiment respect.
Guess what? In return, I'll ignore all this until YOU stop acting like a b*tch just because my regiment isn't very kind towards looters.
So, my guys are a bunch of boy scouts? Wanna play "Bash the Regimental Fluff" game?
I don't care who you are, but don't complain if I RP my regiment as how they really would act..
I might not like you looting, but I respect your decision.
Apparently, it's too much to ask for the high-and-mighty Rolling Thunder to respect the lowly KaikelX on how KaikelX's regiment would act in this situation.
