This just in from BOLS...
I personally think this means they have new models and codecies in the works.
Thoughts?

They do this with every codex and model before new ones are released. Space Wolves had their codex pulled a year and a month before their new dex came out.

Praise the Emperor! Not only does this likely mean an update, but that plastic sisters will be out! Huzzah!

I hope this isn't an indication of an inquisition codex. Why? DARK ELDAR!

You do realise that Games Workshop employs so many mooks, goons and writers that they could, possibly, conceivably do both?

That's what I posted that link for. Dark Eldar are indeed in the schedule as far as we know.

Hmm. Well it's good news, but no basic Sisters box means you have to pay more buying them in 3 packs until next year. They really want to milk it off the Sister collectors till then.

When you are in school time seems to just drag on and it takes so long for a day to get over. Let alone that small amount of time kids are actually in school. Then you get into college and everytime you turn around you are taking some sort of Mid Term or Final exam. Then you get old and call your mother a week before Christmas and it isn't until a full year later that you talk to her and she can still pick up the conversation where you left off and isn't mad that it took so long to get back to her. A years period of time is nothing. If you look at it we only have 365 days in a year and already we have burned through 13 of them.

Waiting a year for DE sounds like about perfect to me...I'm still having fun with mine.(maybe I don't play with them enough...)
plus by then I'll have a fully painted 2000 point army before they become the new kid on the block, I'll be old and bitter and talk about the good ol days when GW didn't love us and everyone thought we were a total joke.

Never thought DE were a joke. In fact the 5th Ed made them stronger than they were in 4th.
At least with the Ed change it wasn't like switching from 2nd to 3rd. Poor SOB didn't have a codex until 4th was ready to be released.

And stop spazzing out, it's only around a year. I guess the DE are going for the all-time record of most time between releases. But given the amount of buzz I'd heard on BoLS about the new DE range being completed and due to be released, I thought maybe, just maybe, they'd be out sometime between April-June. But no. If that schedule is true, GW would rather spam us with more space marines.

If that schedule is true, GW would rather spam us with more space marines. Of course they would. SM are the bread and butter of the GW world. Who wouldn't want to be {Rude sounds from behind closed doors} a SMurf. Just how else do you propose to sell the same model that can be painted 1000 different ways. Depending on how you paint it you can call it a completely seperate army with it's own uber rules to beat your friends with an army that takes nearly no tactical experience to do well with? So, if it were your company and you knew that you could sell a Marine Battle force for every time you put out a new Marine codex wouldn't you also start selling the same army with a different name as many times as you could get away with it?

There's no reason why DE can't be varied, or even painted a million different ways. I gave my DE warriors light blue skin (like the Rogue Trooper comic strip), reasoning that it was woad paint. But you're right. Every kid buys SM. It's ridiculous. Oh! What's that a statue of outside GW HQ?

I'm guessing it's a statue of you ;D (there also seems to be a rather fat Space Marine on a plinth behind the "you statue" ) I wouldn't be surprised if there are plans for new Inquisiton codexes of some form - I also wouldn't be surprised if they are a long way off. I think one reason that they are being "removed" from stores is that they are not quite as mainstream as other armies, so it makes sense to make more space for the other "mainstream" armies and relegate the Inquisition stuff to mail order only. The only reservation I'd really have with new Inquisition codex(es), is that I'd hope an Inquisitor could still be attached to other Imperial armies... I'll be a very sad bunny if my Inquisitor can no longer lead my Guard

Did they ever get taken off GW-USA?
I know they never pulled the codex but I didn't check the models.

Ah..yeah that happens sometimes...
almost all of the metal DE range has been taken away at some point only to come back in a few days.
Besides...it's still a bit far off for a new SoB book...seeing as all we've heard so far is a vague rumor.

It's really interesting that, even with the vaguest of rumours, we can make leaps of faith concerning GW planned release and design schedules.
I still believe that we will see new Inquisition Codex(es) in the near future (ie next few years), but whether this is signified by the removal (or not, as Melissia has drawn attention to) of current sets is very debateable.

In the near future is probably right if we're getting a new Codex: Inquisition.
We probably won't see it coming. Nobody expects the Codex: Inquistion.

Haven't seen many Eldar at all these days. They are getting endangered. Good. Filthy xenos. I heard they actually have most of the DE line finished, but that they suddenly realized that they have too much to release at once, and now they're scared of what they've created. I place a high probability of this being idle idiot-rumor mongering... but it'd be funny as balls if it were true.
