Some very nice army pics.
Your Ultramarines seem to complement the colour scheme too!
Keep up the great work!

Time for a partial resurrection! Jesus, eat your heart out. I'm afraid it's not of my Guard....I'm still skint at the moment. BUT!.... I had an urge to tidy my room, and so decided to bin some old model ships that I had never managed to finish. It was then that I noticed the stands, which have now become........ And with some magic, they will soon look like this amazingly created picture that I whipped up in Paint.... With slightly thicker wire of course. Cosmic

Thanks Firerat, they're not really snow troopers...they just happen to have white armour Slight terrain update, I think I'm too obsessed about Half-life 2 at the moment! The basis for all this terrain is a final stand. The Guard have been held up in a Power Station/small Industrial area, and have looked to anything they can find to prepare themselves, wooden planks, rubble etc. So I very quickly whipped this up as a tester..... Nothing fancy, but it does the job Cosmic

I'm guessing Popsticle sticks? Looks awesome... and the models never get old Close, they were just very thin wooden strips left over from the planking I did on my model of the Bismarck, and thank you have some more models then.... UPDATEThe criteria that led to this update was as follows... 1)Boredom 2)Wanted something new to add that didn't take too long. 3)£20 budget 4) There were still 4 spaces to fill out amongst my 2 squads. So, as per usual I popped into town, and bought yet another 'Cadian Command Squad' Mainly because I only really needed 4 more Guardsmen, but I wanted them to look fancy, so all the extras on the CS sprue worked perfectly. 1st Squad, extra 2 GuardsmenMelta: Lasgun: 2nd Squad, 1 Sergeant and Medic Sergeant: Medic: And as there was a spare pair of legs, I decided to make a Master of Ordnance. I don't really know what he does in-game, but I gather from other posts about him that he can make a big explosion, which is good enough for me MoO: Hope you like, painting to come soon. Cosmic

I would never have the patience for your style... I would just white undercoat, attack with wash, and highlight with a midtone and white...

I would never have the patience for your style... I would just white undercoat, attack with wash, and highlight with a midtone and white... To be honest the scheme isn't that much more difficult than that, just the trousers and sleeves that require the extra step. Shostak(AWOL), Trooper and Major: Thanks as usual I just can't wait to get some heavy Armour in there! Slight update, just detailing and re-touching left to do really.. Cosmic
