Good looking stuff here. I would be tempted to guess that he is a penal legion overseer.

Nope, it's for another army than the Rzakata. Any other guess?

I just painted PVA glue to one of my bases and put it under some sand. How long do you reckon it takes to dry?

I love the camo you've got these guys mate, cracking work. Thanks alot! Canis: I waited a few hours, it's now painted black! Update: I almost finished with the yellow guy and changed the base for my Rzakata Ranger, because he was in a strange angle on the base.

So here is some more pics of the Rzakata Ranger. I changed the base to look like moss and some rocks. Lots of pictures. Do I miss something on him or does he needs anything?

A psyched up renegade? (Guessing from the Mark of [CENSORED] on his back). I presume yellow was the colour of his unit before he massacred them all? If I'm right, a good blood splatter would help the image. Nothus

Having read up on the Sons of Sek, I take back my comment about blood splatter. So Gerner, should we be expecting a traitor guard force?! Nothus

It will be a side project using the spare parts I won't use for my Rzakata 8th. Think I will do a few when I get tired of painting the pain-in-the-ass camouflage. Have made an army list for them, but it will probably change as I progress if I know myself right. So not really a force, just some "lost" soldiers. ;D

So I have run into a "serious" problem. I need around 90 modern combat axes to my Rzakata 8th. Something like these: & I have looked through every games workshops products without luck and on several conversions websites. I saw some on ebay a few months back, but they are gone now. Any suggestion to where I could find what I need? Really need some help with this one! Also if I'm going to buy armour from Tamiya should I go for 1/35 or 1/48 scale? Thanks in advanced!

Not sure where you can buy the bits but you could always sculpt one and then use instant mould to replicate it.

^ I was thinking the same. A piece of plastic/plasticard trimmed down wouldn't be a too hard or expensive way to make these, although it might be a bit fiddly.

The only GW kits I know of that includes hatchet bits are in WFB. The Bretonnian Peasant Bowmen have a woodaxe stuck in a stump that about the right size and the Empire Free Company has a hatchet wielding arm. I've seen the Free Company arms available on Bits stores but it's tough to ever find Bretonnian bits.

But they don't have the design I'm looking for. :/ Not sure where you can buy the bits but you could always sculpt one and then use instant mould to replicate it. Sculpt one? In green stuff. I'm not that awesome! Well I can try. I'm going to play with greenstuff to night anyways, but I won't promise anything. I would so much prefer to buy them.

So here are some more pictures. I gave the Son of Sek a face lift and took a photo of him with the Ranger to show that he is somewhat bigger. The picture failed that apparently. But he is bigger than the standard cadian. Also I finished a new Rzakata Ranger, and here he is. And now I have played with some greenstuff and getting ready to paint two more rangers. Comments and Criticism is very welcome!

I wanted to remove the paint from all the scouts I had painted so I could reuse the parts into Rzakata and Sons of Sek. I left them in a jar of nail remover (without aceton). I shouldn't have done that. They smeared out and bulged up. They are forever destroyed! Buhuuu! Not fun when you are low on money already.

Greetings! Now that I'm done with my GG competition entry I can get cracking on something in here again. I'm in the progress of making several Rzakata's and one Son of Sek. I saw this beast on youtube called Riptide and it got me wondering if I could build anything that looked like it, and if yes what part I should get? www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=TtPeAac8EYkAlso I don't really know any one in real life that plays/paints 40k so I wondered if any of you wanted to chat with me on skype? My mic doesn't work, so it will only be writing. Just send me a PM with your skype name. Cheers all!

Just finished this guy, he is meant to be a Rzakata Barbarian Sergeant: [a href=" "] [/a] No way satisfied, I think I will pop of his upper body, and reuse the legs for another Rzakata. I have learned, that I need to learn skin probably or take the time to do it right at least. Also the waist needs some love. Any tips/ideas on painting skin or how I could improve him?
