Really well done! The night fighting guardsman is looking epic!

The one thing that I think would improve him though is if you spent a bit more time on the lenses and lights to try and get them like this...

yeah thanks for that advice cosmic, everything i paint now of a realisic size im trying to do thatlight effect on lenses and such...well try anyway..

got some more stuff to put up of some of my finished minis and a few wips that im itching to show off.. here goes..

a WIP valkarye... cant decide to add camo... originally wanted it to look like a mi24 hind style camo... you cant really see it but the underside is painted a bluish grey.


my command tank project still WIP ... as you can see, its a beast... a combined LR and chimera ... i wanted the command tank to be able to be a mobile base of sorts, hence the extra troop capacity... added camo nets .. needs antennas, but not sure what to use for them.

along with the guard on the world of eden also is home to a group of ex- imperium space marine novamarines, now called the corps.. anyway, just done a test on one figure to get the look for the rest... this is how my marine army will look.
all the armour is shaved to thin it down and make the marine look skinnier than normal, more lightweight.. the vents on the helmet are filled for a more streamlined look, the trooper also has a chest rig with 3 mags so he dont run out through the battle... also a battle belt with varoius pouches is standard.
his bolter is also lighter, and has had a holo sight added.

Nice marine! I've done the same thing with my AoBR marines. I've yet to take a pic of them, though.

AshotNINJA : For ariels I used a vox with the arials cut off, and replaced them with brass rod (1mm) It looks pretty cool.

Love your 'commissar', I'm sure no-one other than the Commissarat could get away with growing that belly with imperial resources

thanks for all the positive comments people, im scupting like crazy atm to get several squads ready for paint, also two more warthogs and a bunch of sentinals... so im hopefully going to get some more things up and ready to show by the end of this month..

@ jackal - il get a small tutorial on the colours i use for my troopers up withing the next few days.

@ kennyjapan - thanks for that mate, yup il make a tutorial on how to modernise your lasguns... including methods of how to make, battlerifles, sub machinegun, light machine gun and marksman rifles styles to your tired looking lasguns. il do that tommorrow night.
