Excellent, I thought they were a bit too big to be feegles in the pic you put up of the gonagle on Dave's page but now I see that they are scaled to that winsome cow.

they are a little large but hey, artistic license and everything. they'd be pretty tricky to paint if they were any smaller

That's crazy; really good present. The bagpipe player is a mad conversion.
Do you have to paint it as well?

thanks very much I sprayed it black and have left it to her to paint however she likes. She has done a number of smaller cows, and some Labyrinth figures and things, and is really enjoying it.

That's a good looking gyro-...thingamajig! Ever since Age of Sigmar I've been out of the loop fluffwise, so I have no idea what to call it. Greenskins have their Chinorks, but a Chinarf doesn't sound right

well you have the gyrocopter and the gyrobomber, so it needs to be gyro-something. bomber is pretty direct and simple, does what it says on the tin. so I thought something like gyrogunner. gyroraker maybe, like a grudge raker. someone on my forum suggested gyrostriker which I like too

That's great work. Lots of details, solid colours and the portholes look great with the different tones of blue and black.

so this is the finished base for the airship. I had the crazy idea of making it seem like it was flying high up in the air, something suitably different to the usual. So how to make that effect? clouds, and some 6mm scale trees, with a hand made lane and wall to contrast with the 28mm scale model and create a sense of perspective. these trees are small, those trees are far away... really pleased with it.

The new plastic flying stands look totally different to the Valkyrie ones.
Yeah that's a great basing idea. When they get closer to the ground they could be small shrubs.

Those steampunk Dwarfs look fantastic! Great job all round. I like the idea of playing with perspective, may need to steal that if I ever get a flier!
