Trooper-Thanks for noticing trooper. Yes i am very wise. Im the only cowboy in michigan which also makes me the wisest.
Kirsten- Lol 25 tanks wow. I remember when i first got into warhammer 40k as a kid. for every Bday and Xmas i asked for warhammer stuff telling them i only wanted Imperial guard stuff. And every time they gave me a Basilisk. No joke at one point of time i had 15 basilisks before i told them to stop buying me 40k stuff lol.

I just like tanks
15 basilisks is pretty amazing, three would be cool, maybe even six. 15 is pushing it though, without any variety

15?! By the Emperor what wrath you could unleash! But yeah, would be hard to power through that many. 6 would be about right.

Knights! You got the new game then?
Obama waved at me last week on his trip to London. I saw it through a zillion armoured cars, limousines and police motorbikes.

how about a White Lion of the Wanderer Realm (life?) I am very pleased with the hooded heads, it ties them in to the wood elves, and also makes them look a lot more sinister. definitely some forest hunters. the army is essentially going to be the elf stuff I already have and particularly love, tied together with some new bits. I was inspired by the white dwarf daily article by the woman doing an army of sisters of avelorn, with a couple of waywatchers, a treeman, and sisters of the thorn. the core of my army will be basically the same, with some white lions, wildwood rangers, and eternal guard thrown in. basically my favourite units from the high and wood elf ranges. this white lion has had a silly number of layers of paint applied trying to find the right combinations of shades, but I think it is just about working now. I might experiment slightly with a few aspects on a clean model, but by and large I think it is there.

That's pretty damn snazzy. You could probably also run them as 30k Solar Auxilia if you wanted.

thanks, I am pretty pleased with him, I think they would make quite nice guardsmen.
initially I was against Age of Sigmar, I loved fantasy. but I admitted that it was gone and not coming back, so I tried to embrace AoS. but actually I am really getting in to it now. the new setting, broader factions, changes all around really opens up the modelling opportunities. so I am doing a steampunk sky pirate army consisting of Free People and Duardin models. lovable rogues who will fly around in floating galleons lending a hand in the fight against chaos, but also probably stealing your supplies...
so it will be a witch hunter leader (a model I have always wanted, who has two pistols, a sword, and an awesome hat) as the pirate captain. a human engineer, dwarf engineer, a wizard to navigate. a couple of handgunner units, a berserker unit (slayer pirates) longbeards, iron drakes, outriders, the above sky cutters, gyrocopters, gyrobomber, two cannon, a hellblaster, and a steamtank. so loads of flying stuff, some things will fly that don't normally, wood plank bases for infantry, snazzy guns. no need to limit myself to medieval style weapons. the warhammer world already had mechanical steeds, arms, repeater guns etc. after a few aeons, who can say what they have or don't have now?
