So now that its just under 2 months from crushing stores under the weight of new models, sound off on what you think is going into the new codex. Also if you got any info on it tell us cause thats why this is in the rumours section! By the way, heres a link to the sneak peeks section of the GW website: uk.games-workshop.com/sneakpeeks/warhammer40000/default.htm :

Well to answer both your questions, as I understand it, Apocalypse dosent change any of the standing 40k rules, it just adds more, like cities of death. I may be wrong if so notify me, but thats the impression I got.

Bill555 is right Apocalypse is just another major supplement to encourage larger scale games.

as far as baneblades (and the hellhammer, the other superheavy that's hit the sneak previews page - which appears to surely be a loyalist superheavy tank), from the little I've heard, apocolypse will introduce rules that allow superheavies to be included in the new force organization chart designed for apocolypse level battles. the new force organization chart will also include options for squadrons of tanks as opposed to 1 tank taking 1 slot. at this point, I must say THIS IS NOT GOSPEL and is only rumor and speculation.

well, it's got to have rules for all those new vehicles that're coming out as well as a section to cover the new force organization chart. that doesn't sound like TOO big of a book but I'm sure there'll be alot more than just that in the book too. sounds like they could possibly pull off a regular sized publication if they wanted to with it, or GW could take it to the max and 'go large.' (yuk yuk, macdonalds pun)

Actually, Murlocs, in my opinion, sound more like "NURGLE*GURGLEGURLGESHNURGLE"
*i dont know how a "nurgle" got in there, but it does sound like they start thier gurgling warcray with an N. Or who knows? Maybe the smelly fish-heads are chaotic!

Dear god those rules rock. Its a shame Australia is getting next to nothing of Apocalypse.

how so?
it seems like apocolypse is a big push for selling forgeworld products and the term 'apocolypse' seems more suited to what's about to happen to my savings account than anything else!

Yarricks baneblade? O.O Sweetness. I love the set up for leman russ companies, that is aces. LoL, whenever I hear imperial armoured company I get the image of like 100 leman russ' crushing the enemy to the tune of panzer lied.

I'm looking forward to the unveiling of the warlord titan (yes warLORD not warHOUND). it's supposedly 2500(!!)pts and dwarfs the warhound class titans - forgeworld is supposedly working on the model at current. I heard something like half a dozen void shields on it and other insanity.
