Thanks guys great praise indeed I've got my squad at ease finished at last! This really is one of my favourite units it has loads of character (and the watchmaster come with cc weapon!) Here's the finished article Also this time I've started a Sons of Horus force for the Horus Heresy. So far I'm just using my bitz box to make them so it's going to be slow going. Let me know what you think. Thanks as always for having a look. Let me know what you thin about the Krieg or the Sons of Horus.

I like the krieg stances you did, little things like that really makes the army unique. I think the sword is too big and long for the marine, unless he's using it 2-handed. I also suggest you add a little shine to his bald head via wash or satin clear acrylic, and a gloss on the eye piece via brush on clear gloss.

I love that SoH Marine you got there. The green has to be a teeny tiny bit darker, but other than that it looks just like the art in Betrayal. Awesome work on the DKoK as well.

Hello again! I've been away for a while (holiday and other commitments) so haven't had chance to do much painting. I have had IA12- fall of Orpheus a week or 2. I have to say its breathed new life into what I want to achieve with my Krieg. The assault brigade list is one of mobility, a totally refreshing change from the static gun line I'm used to fielding. I will be add plenty of tanks, grenadiers and deathriders. It's gonna be great because I've always loved the models and now (with the decrease in points and improved stats ) they are a viable choice. First up are some pictures of my new and improved company command squad. These will count as Marshal Karis Venner and command squad. Thanks for having a look I appreciate your feedback.

Thanks dwi, glad you like them Here's the platoon command squad for yellow platoon. I've used a different heavy infantry model for each platoon comand squad. This one has an engineer.

Hello again. I've been away for the summer holidays so not too much time for painting (I find I do much less hobby in the summer!) but I have finished a few Death Korps units. First up is the chimera for my command hq I've also finished my grenadier squad I've reworked my army general after my previous effort had been broken (the crest had snapped off!) Thanks very much for viewing this far. Next up I have 4 deathriders and earthshaker and crew to paint! After that I've got an apocalypse game so I'll be getting a baneblade- loving this project . All comments are welcome, please let me know what you think. All the best. comments

Great as always. My only issue would be with the weathering on the chimera; the sand is great, although areas around the bottom of the plough are still a bit clean, maybe add a bit of drybrushing to help it blend in a bit? That's only if I'm being picky though

Thanks guys. 3ff3ct, do you think I should add more pumice, or just dry brush with the lighter mud colour?

Dang! Putting us all to shame. Excellent work as always. The "At Ease" squad is amazing. Thanks man. The krieg models - especially the squad at ease - are full of character glad you like my work 3ff3ct below is the finished chimera think it's finished now! Here's my (nearly) complete earthshaker battery, I have another one planned for a battery of three, here's the latest though. Many thanks for looking this far, I know this thread is very pic heavy! All I have left on the painting tray is 4 deathriders. After that I'm going to paint a baneblade, This'll be my first super heavy so wish me luck!

Looking good! I sometimes wonder how my painting tray is so full. To 'only have 4 deathriders' seems like some kind of state of hobby zen, where balance has been acheived, as opposed to my own 'I have half an army of orks to finish, hundreds of bugs and a marine army I made from trades and my bits box' Although my own painting has increased and spending decreased dramatically of late. The last model I bought was a good three months ago, and that was for the campaign weekend... I think you're onto something with your 'less is more' mate! As for the super heavy, I cannot wait!

I used to do the same thing! I'd buy tonnes of stuff and then get ovewhelmed, not knowing where to start! Now I usually only buy if I have nothing to paint. This suits my army choice other wise I'd never have been able to build my Krieg force! It's been a marathon not a sprint!

Hello again! Thanks man, it's how I do things. Quick update. I found this little fella on ebay for £16, compared to how much some of them were going for I consider it a bargain (for Krieg anyway. Been getting the force ready for my first apocalypse game but couldn't resist painting up the quatermaster. I'll be using him as a second senior officer, I'll post pics when the command squad is finished. I've also got 3 deathriders, a baneblade and another (and final) earthshaker. Wish me luck in tomorrow's apoc game! Here's the pics thanks for reading this far
