Cheers lads Right I have just done a little tester for Ivory. He wanted the shoulder pads to be yellow, which I felt would detract from the gritty feel I've given the Sallies, as well as being a pain to repaint each pad with such a short deadline, however.....I may have found a solution....   Ivory wanted the symbol to be the Sallie head over a yellow sun/moon/planet thing. So taking that idea I have sprayed a yellow haze on the right pad, then a whiter haze, and finally over this I did a white circle and then a quick silhouetted dragons head. My only change if I was to do this for real would be to replace the head with the Legions number, as it's the left pad thats reserved for the Legions symbol, and I can use the white Salamanders transfers for that. At least this way we get that bit of yellow in and the idea of your legion markings? Thoughts Ivory? |

Ivory satisfied with the end result!! And yes, I agree that the legion number would be a perfect fit. It's only the FW pad's dragon heads in black that I was talking about.
Looks good and I love it

Guess who! ;D I have been skulking in the background of the board for a little while, been so busy it's been unbelieveable. However, I have manged to complete something for Ivorys Salamanders! Now, firstly, as I just said I have been extremely busy. So just a quick message to anyone who is looking at this and is waiting for a commission from me....I am sorry, I truly haven't forgotten anyone, I'm slowly getting through everyones. These Sallies will be finished by the 8th of May, so after that I should be able to churn out everyones relatively quickly. Thank you for all being patient! Now, on to the goodies........3 complete Contemptors!    I'm really happy with how these turned out, despite the push of the deadline. There are still some things I would like to change and redo but I just don't have the time sadly, so these will do if Ivory likes them  Next up will be the 2 Predators and Vindicator since they are 90% done. After that it's just infantry. Cosmic |

All the homoeroticism is just basic human nature. Humans subconsciously look for certain traits in a mate, and this forum is a gathering of like minded people. We all suffer plasticrack addiction, and Cosmic adds an extra oomph to it. It's just his bad luck the forum is predominately male, otherwise he'd have a bunch of gamer girls salivating over his painting skill.
Come to think about it, I don't think Helen would be too impressed with that either ;D
