Fundamentally, yes. Dealing with corona alongside it, not so much.

How is everyone?
It's been some time!
Squats... well I can't say I'm too much in love with the one model they've shown as I always thought it was the biker gangs that were most fun - though I guess that's kind of held by Orks now, while the rest of Squat tech was big cannons and huge vehicles - so I'm curious to see what gets released, if only so I can convert it.
Necromunda ash wastes is certainly interesting, though I was very dissapointed with the cargo 8, I was hoping for a ubiquitous cargo hauler much like an M4 half-track or similar, where-as we got something quite different. I intend to build the versions I had in my mind and I'll show you once they're complete!
My build list has featured a lot of aeronautica, and I finally finished the heavy metal Knight I had converted, Images will come.
Hobby life has been on hold as my living circumstances have been quit4e strange of late, making hobbying somewhat difficult. Things are stabalising now and I managed a game of blood bowl recently!
I've also been drawn into the world of Magic the Gathering and fallen deep into that rabbit hole! (mainly because I'm trying to find a way to defeat my girlfriends deck!)
I hope you've all been well, look forward to seeing what you've been up to!

Well chaps, I've played my first ever game of Epic: Armageddon, and I can say it was a resounding success.

It doesn't happen as often anymore since I moved out of 40k, but one of my favorite things in tabletop wargaming is unveiling an army list to universal horror at my local game store. The fact that I can do it without meta-chasing makes it all the sweeter.

Ah, Warhammer 1944
I'm currently weighing up if I can do a Mordian Iron Guards army in 6mm. Have I finished by current Cadians? Have I heck.

Yes. Someone called it "Disgusting". Ah, Warhammer 1944 I'm currently weighing up if I can do a Mordian Iron Guards army in 6mm. Have I finished by current Cadians? Have I heck. Go for it! The smaller the infantry get, the better they look with brighter, more contrasting colors like the Mordians have.

I can do infantry and rough riders, but filling in the Grenadiers/Stormtroopers would be difficult. Could just use standard Stormies I guess, or the 6mm Solar Auxillia I've printed.

A weird question, but why not just paint more Mordians in a different, slightly fancier uniform? At 6mm nobody's going to notice they're not hellguns.

At 6mm, nobody's going to notice they're Mordian. Can you even paint details at that scale?

Day one of summer school, again: I hate summer school, again. I think nearly everyone hates it. The concept is an abomination.

It's winter now.
Why did you wake me up? I was hybernating.

Because it's over 30 degrees in the sunlight. You'll get sick if you hibernate like that.

We've had a spot of Arctic wind these past few days. The Frost God has let rip in our general direction. 30 degrees is nothing; you can fry an egg on a car bonnet when it hits 40. We had a heatwave this year and believe me Chem's car fried eggs were a thing back then. I don't have a car but these people keep parking them on my road so there are plenty around.

New Guard Stuff!
I'm liking the large Weapon Things - Artillery I guess, though not in the usual 40k sense. Not so sure about the multiple missile rack model though.
How's everyone been! - Surivived the summer of superheat?
I've been busy and will post up bat-reps and photo's soon (have been playing a narrative Nid vs Guard Invasion campaign, plus some fun Ork vs Ork stuff with my partner), as well as the all new battle-bus / dedicated games room thing which has made gaming sooo much better!

Hello Tread.
Is there a large amount of DAKKA attached to your new bus? Does the conductor accept oyster card?

Thought about this place the other day and thought it'd be fun to check in. Dunno if anyone remembers me, but I've many fond memories of this place.
The new guard stuff is looking pretty cool! I like the old sentinels better, but I gotta say the Rogal Dorn is pretty dang sweet.

It's a little quiet here these days, but some of the old guard have drifted back recently.

cheminhaler: Trick or Treat Yesterday I saw a white tailed eagle, which now makes the birds of prey I've spotted at my new address total 5: Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Kite, Owl, and now eagle. Just need a kestrel. Its handy living next to a RSPB sanctuary. (Royal Society of the Protection of Birds). I promise I will bring the photo's soon - they're just on a differnet device and need a bit of work moving them around!

Wow! Eagles must be huge. I've got a pair of red kites in the park; usually they scavenge Maria and Mario Crow's food but at this time of year the gulls get there first. Red kites are so fast; they fly in really fast from high up and when they spot something worth scavenging they get to about 30 feet, fly in tight circles above and then do this crazy dive straight down and back up.
There's a pigeon eating sparrowhawk in my garden. Last week I was trying to work out what a wet jellied thing in the garden was; then I saw all the pigeon feathers... I've seen it strike as well; in the summer it got quite a few starlings, which are very fast little birds. It waits for them to gather in large numbers and start squabbling, then it flies at them in a lightning fast arc, grabbing one in it's talons. I need to build more bird furniture and obstacles in the garden but first I need to fix my gutters, garage and fences.
Photos, yes. We need a take a picture of the wild animals/ xenos creatures in your back yard thread!
Hi Wraelis!
