They look good. The Elvis guy is going to be used for Zombicide and occasionally dropped into a Slaanesh cultist squad. Mostly I just liked the model and wanted to mess around with technical paints.

I've been really liking the whole textured greenstuff base thing recently. It isn't too hard and can really add to the model's feel, like here. Those look pretty cool for Tyranid bases.

Nice bases. It took me a second to realise you weren't converting some new hopping Genestealers though...

A couple more from the Hasslefree modern range for use in Zombicide.

Cool! For when a noise marine simply does not make enough noise.

Love seat championship 2018.. The winner is.... Actually you can make a game out of this with 2 models, a couch and a die. That knight is insane Tread. Trickstick - the Tvashtan knight is looking unreal! @ emptyhat - the bananaman with a fire axe and shotgun looks crazy @ that1guy - good sculpting

Test model for my Daemons of Nurgle colour scheme. I'm about to dump unhealthy amounts of Nurgle's Rot on top of this to see what happens.

That's a cool looking effect on the plaguebearer, I wonder what he looks like after getting slimed. Did you use two tones of colournutst paint on him? Or is that the way it dried? Either way: it looks good.

For the main body I used some of GSW's Toxic Purple colourshift and then added a second green purple colour shift, Martian Green, over that. Then I glazed some of the body with GW's green glaze paint and washed some parts green and some parts purple. The Nurgling didn't get washed to see how much difference that would make, the horns, guts, bells, sword and eyes were painted in normal colours but also washed with purple and green. Because a lot of the paint used reacts to the light from the flash I'll put in a non-flash photo for the goop and pre-goop, but the pre-goop one is a bit dark. And without flash

It might be the pictures, but it looks as though the goop is obscuring most of the colourshift effects. The overal skin/flesh of the model looks pretty good though; will you be picking out detail in other colours? Or are you going to leave it as is?
Personally I'd think the hanging guts(?) that are coming out of his stomach would look nice in a different colour, but that is up to you ofcourse.

Right now I'm not sure if I really dig the paint job or if I'm just having fun throwing various technical paints on it. I think I'll leave off on painting the rest of the daemons for a couple of weeks while I prep them and add some green stuff, that should go past the honeymoon period of being overly pleased/cynical about it. But I am interested in hearing what colours you think would work better for the guts? I was thinking of looking up some google images of horribly gut disease but then I didn't want to do that.
Oh and colourshift is notoriously hard to photograph well because it benefits from a moving perspective but the wash and glaze did make it a bit more static and pronounced as either green or purple. The Nurgle's Rot still lets it show through, though I think the Nurgling got overly gooped. It could have done with having the details in the eyes and smile picked out first. On the upside the two IRL opinions I've had so far are that it looks "super gross"; go Team Nurgle.

I'd probably go with a pink or light purple shaded with a red wash. Not so much because it'll look horribly diseased (although exposed intestines are usually a sign of poor health) but I think it'll be a nice spot colour to conmpliment the scheme so far.

That's a delicious looking daemon, Empty. Rats I forgot to photo that squad of 10 x 90s metal plague bearers I found the other day. They're now living in the new Death Guard Conquest box, so I'll also have to do a shot of those huge new DG terminators next to a normal terminator to show off that radical scale creep again. Funnily the Japan hero marine I'm painting now is on a raised platform so he doesn't look too bad next to Felthius (the Nurgle DG character) but I'll do those pics soon. Chemin - your fine detail brush work is getting insanely good! Thanks Tread. Here's an army shot and an eviscerator marine who looks suspiciously like Arnie in Terminator the movie...

Nice one. You've Made a lot of progress since the last two games. I've been prepping the Nurgle Daemons and they are coming along nicely.

That's a nice collection of marines you have the Chemin, and the lettering on the bases is really clean looking I don't believe I've noticed that before.
And those nurgle guys are pretty sweet(for filthy heretics).

Thanks nutty. The DG are mostly due to Conquest. There will be a khaki green chaos rhino spread over 2 issues in 4 weeks time. Hope Hachette don't mess that delivery up to my newsagent.

Some work in progress shots of my Plague Drones. These ones will get less of the Nurgle's Rot coating then the other daemons because the colour shift suits the fly look so well.
