The Battle Suits look amazing togeather, I bet you can't wait to test them out.
At the end of the day none of this is real, as long as the creator likes the paint scheme and has fun, that's all that matters.

It's been a while but I've finally finished my second team of Fire Warriors! I'm really pleased with how my T'au are coming along. I just have to get Darkstrider and some Kroot then my T'au sept detachment will be ready! I'm planning on running my second detachment as Bork'an sept (the extra range will come in handy!) I’m loving this project, the models aren’t as flash as the DKoK but are still really fun to paint.
I can’t wait to start the Kroot, though they’re out of stock at GW.

I don’t usually build to a list, mostly I buy what I want to paint and go from there.
This time is different. I got my second “start collecting” box and decided to buy to a 2000pt list.
So I set about putting some structure to building the cadre.
I won’t pretend that I know a lot about T’au in game, basically I built the list around the models I’d already bought and
what I want to paint going forward hence the inclusion of the tanks and Stormsurge!
Here’s my 2000pts list,
Bork’an sept battalion detachment
HQ XV8 Commander, Iridium Armour, 4 Missile Pods. (Warlord) with Puretide Engram Neurochip
HQ Cadre Fireblade.
Troops 2 squads of 10 Fire Warriors with DS8 Smart Missile System and Pulse Rifles
Troops 10 Kroot
Fast Attack 5 Pathfinders with Marker Lights and a Pulse Accelerator Drone
LoW Stormsurge with Pulse Driver Cannon, Cluster Rocket System, 4 Destroyer Missiles, 2 Burst Cannons, 2 Smart Missile Systems,
Shield Generator and Early Warning Override
T’au Sept battalion detachment
HQ Longstrike with Railgun, Smart Missile System and 2 Seeker Missiles
HQ Darkstrider
Troops 2 teams of 10 Fire Warriors with Pulse Rifles
Troops 10 Kroot
Elite 3 Crisis Suits with 2 Fusion Blasters and a Drone Controller
Fast Attack 5 Pathfinders with Marker Lights and Pulse Accelerator Drone
Fast Attack 12 Drones, 8 Gun, 4 Shield
Heavy Support Hammerhead with Railgun, Smart Missile System and 2 Seeker Missiles
I always try and build my forces with a few different elements, a gunline to hold my deployment zone,
a mobile strike force to take objectives and a deep striking unit or 2 to react to whatever the situation needs.
Hopefully I’ll have this force built by the end of the summer!

That should be an excellent project to work towards, with a nice variety of models... and a knight-sized battlesuit in a camo-scheme sounds ridiculous (but in a good way  ) |

Nicely done, he looks fantastic.
I think the battle damage looks good on him, the chippings aren’t over done, just right.
The two Greens are please on the eye.

nutty, thanks very much! All the weapons are glued on, I’m too lazy a modeller to magnitize! He’s the first of 3 Commanders I have planned so watch this space!

Yea it's all good, it's not over baring and taking over the model, you've got it just right. It's a pain when you go over the top, you have to start again  I hope it's a small Kitchen and not a large kitchen Dinner. Looking forward to the Kroot colour Scheme. |

I love them! The faces look really well done and the colour is very fitting with the fire warriors scheme.
I’m glad you didn’t go for the Bright colours, Kroot shouldn’t look like Mario Kart Characters.
