Thanks ;D
How did you have her, I've seen your army pics. With servitors? If so what type?

I've used her with tech servitors. She came in handy once or twice during that. Used the Honorifica with her as well. Next time I play a similar list I'll use her with combat servitors as a stand alone squad.

Well, the army seems to be going in one of two ways, according to which rumor you like to believe:
1. Many small upgrades for individual units with a generic command squad/Characters.
2. Large upgrades for the entire army roster provided by specialist command squads/characters.
I prefer the first, but the option to do one or the other would be nice. Sort of like either building your own army doctrines vs. taking the quick and easy route and going Cadian 8th (7 or 8 doctrines :V )

The ability to take several units with carapace, hardened fighters and BS4 (veterans) and then back them with a horde of reserve infantry would make my life so much easier. Currently it's either an all-carapace army with veterans and hardened fighters, or apocalypse. Grr.

That's what I'm talking about!!!
Throw in an Armored Fist Platoon and that would be my army of choice.

I really hope they don't re-fit the boxes to contain 8 Guardsmen and 2 heavy weapon crews. Sure, it'll be very practical, but the box will probably cost as much as it did before.

If it is like what they did for eldar guardians, then the price will come down. The guardsmen per dollar ratio with most likely go down, but hopefully not by *too* much. In addition, if they give us more options (special weapons, heavy weapons, ect) and if the new plastics are superior (better customization) then I can see this as a good move. But we will see.

Look what i found on BOLS
Hi all, its pretty quiet today, but the following is reported regarding the upcoming IG codex.
-Return of the Griffon mortar carrier and other "old units" -New weapon options for Sentinels and a sprue recut with the new options added. -Sentinels are said to be split into 2 diffent FOC options based on weapon loadouts (basically heavier armed ones won't be able to scout) -New Sanctioned Psykers -New Ratling Snipers -May 2nd release for the codex and other initial offering.

*Shakes Fist* You beat me to the punch! Anyway, this apparently means that... A) We WILL be seeing Ratlings in the new codex (waste of a chance to get a new model, if you ask me ) B) The "multiple weapon options on the Sentinel" rumor is true C) The end date for our little Campaign has been set correctly. I wonder what they mean when they say "older units"? reds

Darn to you jeytryon, but at least you beat reds to it.
Like they said usual salt with that, but the Griffon and it friends of old may make their way back into our army and codex(Whawhoo). Sentinels look like an almost confirmed refit then (come on plasma). Don't know what to say about the ratlings and psykers. Ratlings should just be snipers. Psykers may just get upgraded powers and make them actually worth taking. I doubt a new model.
As always look forwards for May 2nd for a great release. Party at my place if anyone can make it to NZ, May 2nd. Did I mention MAY 2ND!!!!

My uncle's in NZ! Or, at least he was a couple days ago, visiting rlatives on their farm. Would love to go there myself.
My opinion- -C'mon riffon! -I'm not really bothered about new sentinals. -More ratlings! I wnted snipers! We'll just have to stay with "count as" ratlings.

Hopefully when they say old minis, they are meaning to make some new plastic rough riders fully compatible with the rest of the plastic sprues. Of course I probably won´t use them but perhaps a squad (or 2, or 3 or....)of 10 each as auxillaries.

As long as they reduce Sentinel point costs, Plasmacannon/MM Sentinels sound very cool.
New Ratling models are needed (and perhaps a point reduction!).
Having the Griffon back is going to be great, and I *really* hope we can take squadrons of them! Imagine 3 Griffons (as 1 heavy choice) blasting away every turn!!!
