For those who wondered, and can't read French, we have a glance at the new Hellgun here: Fusil Radiant Laser, it's a S3 AP3 18" Rapid Fire Weapon! AP3!!!!!!!!! Those who will have at least three squads of Storm troopers raise your hand! *Raising my hands and standin' up, just to be sure* Edit: whoops! busted, missed the en of your post Inquisitor Lord Graenis.

(already wrote that down, below the pics. ) and Chenkov I believe is the Valhalan one (could eb the guy from the codex when it shows the different regiments) also, whats the format of the new codexes, is the army list at the front or the back or the middle? because if its at the back, then I don't think the page number is listing them as FOC options, just normal people and heroic peoples.

Am I the only one that noticed a discrepancy already? In the Supposed english translated bit, it says the demolisher is strength 10 AP 1, but in the french version the cannon (Which I can only assume is the 'canon demolisseur' says strength 10 AP 2.

Some of these things arent matching up. I am fairly certain there were quite a few people on this board that swore up and down conscripts are gone. But I am seeing one conscript entry, not to mention the penal legion and the scout things.

i dont get the watt the penal legion is and aparentley conscripts dont take up a FOC slot but if they run you have to shoot them dead witch would be a pain

Penal legions are just regiments made up of convicted criminals.
That new rule seems kind of cool; reminds me of 'Enemy at the Gates'.

Well there isn't Gaunt either so its kinda interesting to see what happens. I never thought that the conscripts would be gone, i'm just kinda interested in seeing what they do with them.
Now whats interesting is that the penal legion is put in the elite choice while the conscripts remain in the standard troop choice. Now this is according to the english pdf somewhere here on the forums. Based on the french leak of course. Also why are the Stormtroopers in the fast attack?
It will be very interesting to see how the conscripts will work out.

Ok, being old and grumpy now... but:
Graenis: I really appreciate how you've gone to such effort to bring the lists to us, that's really helpful - thank you! However, if you continue to post posts saying:
"WOOP, (or some other noddy internet jargon) I've ALREADY posted this!"
I will come down to Bristol and introduce you to my boot! In case you haven't noticed, if you'd posted your original post somewhere where ANYONE could find it without a detailed and tiresome search (like in a new Rumours thread), you would have been:
a) found by everyone, and relishing glory, and; b) wouldn't need to keep claiming glory like some numpty.
If you'd read my post above, you might actually have noticed that I spent quite a lot of time breaking down the book into its constituent parts. This subsequently has highlighted that Techpriests are in HQ and Stormtroopers MAY be a fast attack option. Additionally its pulled out conscripts and THE ENTIRE BREAKDOWN OF THE ARMY LIST!
This is a significantly different post from your stats post, but well done - thanks to your "Yeah, did that!" post right after, thanks to you - it's triggered no discussion.
Well done! *pats Graenis' head* Good boy!
So please, give it a rest.

i did.... sorry it wasn't meant to come down as condescending. and noticed it afterwards. and I did try to bring out the fact that you had stormtroopers as fast attack, and the discussion started about whether they took valks they became stormtroopers. it was just small. Again sorry.

Jesus suneokun, calm down. Being so angry is not healthy. It's understandable that we're going to see a lot of copy lists springing up around this board, but frankly, that's a problem for myself and the man in blue. And any other Mods, but really, I doubt anyone minds much. When everything has calmed down, we can have a nice board prune, but at the moment, the excitement is not conducive to good thinking-ness.

its not that they sprung up, its more because I straight away said that I had already posted. I was inconsiderate about the work that he had gone through.

Apologies Graenis, I'm calm enough - just reread the post and it's a little acerbic ... for that, I apologise. It's easy to get excited about this new codex, Guard are finally gonna rock on paper, on the table and on the ranking - WOOP!

Al'rahem = Tallarn Col. Straken = Catachan Sly Marbo = Catachan Capt. Chenkov = Valhallan (the guy with power sword and bolt pistol and had rules and mini in the past like Al'rahem) Yarrik = Commissar and Armageddon

Yeah! The maginot line really stopped the german army! -Herr sargent' their's a trench and bunker line right around France! Sgt ''Mmme what do we do? Private ''Herr sgt, why don't we go around? Sgt ''Herr private, you are now a sargent!''
-to take lightly, that's only history!
Early in the war, Canada's commitment to the British-French forces in Europe was limited to one division. Canada's military deployment reached corps-level strength for the invasions in Italy in 1943, and Normandy in 1944. Over the course of the war, 1.1 million Canadians served in the army, navy, and air force. Of these more than 45,000 lost their lives and another 54,000 were wounded.[4] The suffering and the hardships of war affected many Canadians at home and abroad.

Wasn't Canada one of the nations that sent most troops to Europe in the late WW2? I think only US sent more, but absolutely not sure about GB if they had more on the Allies side (not counting Soviet Union as they outnumbered everything and were part of the Comintern, which was only allied with the Allies)
