Started modifying some of my old Veterans. Added them shotguns, three new beardy fellows and a vox operator. And filed the barrets a bit cause they looked more like baker's hats. The sergeants power weapon conversion is old and somewhat legendary in our gaming group so I didn't dare break it. The melta man moved to command squad, so I think I'll be adding a third melta to this squad, and propably someone with a Demo charge. ...Or then I'll just make another squad I'll try to get these painted some day soon. In the mean time, tell me what you think! Comments and criticism welcome.

I enjoy how the paint stain on the desk looks like blood splatter next to the chainsword-on-a-stick guy.

Thanks guys for the comments! Happy, that I didn't break that chainstick. And Shraken's right, he would go well as a priest. Have to think of thet in the next game! Well, I made one of these too, and I didn't want to create a whole new topic again. So here's something more: a Leman Russ Punisher! This thing is so cool (not my model, but the rules), just hed to make one! Can't wait to get to pour some serious lead on my enemies! 8)

I like what I see. I'm guessing you used the flail arms from a Chaos Marauder for your sergeant, right? And those are some good looking shotguns.

lol everyones making punishers well they are cool and btw YOU SHOULD PUT KNIGHT COMMANDER PASK IN THE LRP (page 58 of the new dex) I have Tank Commander Lenin instead! Just wait and see... I like what I see. I'm guessing you used the flail arms from a Chaos Marauder for your sergeant, right? And those are some good looking shotguns. Yes, they are marauder flail hands. It's quite an old conversion of mine, so I had to double check that. nice conversion, just one thing i would swap the lascannon for a heavy bolter. The Punisher turret is one extra turret I have, and I have three heavy bolters on an other Russ. Thet chassis was just the first one I picked from my shelf.

I presume Commander Lenin is a fluff proxy of Pask. That has to be one of the most well-done LRP conversions I've seen in a while (it's strange finding myself saying that...). Still, can't wait to see your finished products!

May I peresent you, Commander Comrad Lenin! Mighty old conversion and bit of an inside joke of me and my brother. But definitely got a new job for him. I think the tank he's lead has never been destroyed in batttle. ;D Have to do some re-painting on him though.

Wouldn't it be cool exchanging the Heavy bolters for Gatling guns? Of course rule wise they would still be HB.

Glad you guys like the chainpaddle! Wouldn't it be cool exchanging the Heavy bolters for Gatling guns? Of course rule wise they would still be HB. Yes, it would. Just don't know if I'll have the needed inspiration for that. lol were was the flag commander lenin is holding from? cus i want it! and ive made my own commander pask to put in mine i must take pictures! The flag is actually from FB Empire Knightly orders. Wish I could make that kind of stuff out of GS. :/

Nice punisher, Walters. Lenin is hilarious, although the remainders of the KGB will probably hunt you down and kill you now

I kinda figured those were Marauder arms. I got a free one a few years back for a GW painting comp, and then just used it for bitz. The axe went to one of my sergeants. Any way back on topics now: Lenin looks awesome. It's fitting that a Hero of the Soviet Union should be riding a tank into battle. As for your Penal Legion, it looks... interesting. Not exactly my cup of tea, but looks good anyhow.
