He would then assualt spam those fire dragons with guardsmen until the problem went away.

it might have been covered in this topic but i got a question.
how are the fire points on bastions handled is it as normal 5th ed building rules or is it a special X can fire?
since there is no local store (yet) we don't have the advantage of having a advance copy laying around.

I bought the Aegis defences at the same time as my copy of the book, and I've realised something - the quad autocannon weapon fits pretty much perfectly on the turret point on the Chimera - cheap Hydra conversion?

Ah, right, thought someone else would have spotted it. But a good Guardsman always states the bleeding obvious, Sah!

Well, knocked off two games of 'Strike today. In the first one, my CSM opponent wound up dropping his terminators into rapidfire (but not assault) range, and subsequently being lasgun-spammed unto death, along with the majority of his force.
The second, I was wiped off the map by turn Four. Mainly because it was 3000 points of Guard and Tau versues 6000 points of Space Marines. Stupid Campaign rules, I'm not playing in that again.
On the whole, Planetstrike is no bad thing.

Me neither, but both have a fine tradition of the Blue Peter "Here's what I made earlier" spirit.

Eldar buildings would be easy. For Tau, just buy some mecha models, and glue parts together on a sheet of card.

Yeah, Tau are fairly simple to do. Just look at some of the stuff on the GW site. Tau terrain is fairly organic and rounded.
