I asked her why she choose the name order of the fluffy bunny and she responded with a "I don't know, cuz its cool"
***Edited for threats of violence*** I misquoted her what she said was "Because I like bunnies"

RT, your BoSL costs a lot more than one of mine...
And none of those sisters will melt themselves.
"Fallen sisters of Slaanesh..." sounds... interesting.

I believe I saw one set of models that all were converted so that the left breast was exposed. IE, it is NSFW and I can't link to it here.

Thats just silly I wonder what goes threw some ones mind to think that doing that is a good idea.

A new converting challenge. And painting challenge. Although, to do that would require either lots 'o money, or lots 'o sculpting skill... or both.

Thats just silly I wonder what goes threw some ones mind to think that doing that is a good idea. Glue fumes and the raw stuff of chaos? Although I'm not sure that the two aren't one and the same.

Well, if they are minis, it's hardly NSFW. Hell, the old Daemonettes were NSFW, but they were far better than the new ones.

I think nurgle sisters would be the best. Would be hard to come up with some fluff for its thats not silly. Over on bolter and chain sword there was a couple of nice storys about sisters falling to khorne. I will post pictures of this army when it shows up.

Non-fallen Sisters are most assuredly the more interesting ones. Hella better than one of the innumerable trite fallen armies.

There's really no way to reconcile fallen sisters with the 40K fluff. But props to those who try, and do a decent job. Creativity is what this is all about.

My wife sisters are not going to be fallen or anything silly like that. We have been looking at the sisters of sigmar models to convert into priests as they seem to be useful.

Useful if you want to field arco-flagellants and penitent engines, but a bit detrimental the to squad they join. If the assaulty stuff you take can make up for this, then go for it.

5-woman Celestian squad with a couple of flamers, frag nades, and a veteran with pistol+eviscerator would do for attatching a priest/ess to.

True, they can handle cc. But for a squad like that, you may as well give him the eviscerator or combi-flamer with power armor, or plasma pistol/ power sword and power armor.

Post by Melissia on Aug 23, 2009 12:31:20 GMT -5
Do both, let the squad have two eviscerators. Put them in a rhino or immolator and send them into the enemy.
Expensive, but about the only good way to use a priest IMO, except maybe on a dominian squad... which will also be expensive with all those special weapons.

I think I would leave the priest out of the dominian as I would rather have them shooting at stuff But with the Celestian squad seems like a good idea.

Didn't want to start a new topic. What do sister of battle fly about in? Do they use thunderhawks? or those imperial landers from epic.

GW hasn't told us yet (despite the fact that Sisters have existed since back in Rogue Trader days).

Neat so pure sisters armies just magicly show up on a planet burn heretics and then magicly vanish.
On a related note the sisters have not shown up in the mail and shes got a game this weekend and planned to use them.

Apparently, yes. I would assume that they use orbital shuttles like the Guard do myself, though.

Actually, the mass-teleport from orbit doesn't sound like such a bad idea...

Sisters have never been described as having any teleportation abilities or technology. Would be interesting, but I think that's mostly the Grey Knights' perview.

True. I didn't say it was 'fluffy,' just sounded cool. It would be a slight boost to believing that 1000 sisters took all those worlds by themselves...

The only offical stories I am aware of just have sister being at the place that was being attacked. Or where hanging out with an inquisatour and proberly hitched a ride with them.
