RIGHT! I've neglected my Zion Rifles and this thread for far too long! Luckily, the Get Together we've planned in the UK is just the kind of impetus I need to crack on with some more Zion Rifles. So, on the painting table I have the rest of the Steel Legion HWS to do (just done two gunners tonight, so just two loaders left there) and the third squad from Red Platoon (another lascannon/plasmagun infantry squad), that I'm intending on completing by May 7th. If there's time, I'll also try to paint Inquisitor Cynthia Gaine's Storm Trooper squad/retinue, followed by another sentinel and my third Decimator... So... not much then...

Time for a rather large post... Just as a way of compiling the army into one easy to see section, I'm going to collect all the pictures here - this will also give me the chance to make a couple of slight changes that have occurred. So here we go: HQ: Inquisitor Lord Gabriel Lupus: Company Command Squad: The attached Priests (right: Natalya Amicus, left Daragh Heglan: Elites: Storm Trooper Squad: Ratling Squad: Troops: Red Platoon, Platoon Command Red Squad: Red Platoon, Green Squad: Red Platoon, Blue Squad: Green Platoon, Platoon Command Red Squad: Green Platoon, Green Squad: Green Platoon, Blue Squad: Green Platoon, Yellow Squad: Green Platoon remnant squad (SWS) - assigned as Natalya's 'bodyguard': Blue Platoon, Platoon Command Red Squad: Blue Platoon, Green Squad: Blue Platoon, Blue Squad: Blue Platoon, Yellow Squad: Yellow Platoon, Platoon Command Squad (Daragh is attached to this squad): Yellow Platoon, Green Squad: White Platoon (Squats!), Platoon Command Red Squad: White Platoon Green Squad: White Platoon Blue Squad 2: Veteran Squad: Fast Attack: "Lucky 13" 1st Hellhound: "Hotdog" 2nd Hellhound: Sentinels: Heavy Support: "Pac-Man", "Daisy" and "Tinkerbell": Leman Russ Decimators (Exterminators) "Caine" and "Abel": Super Heavy Support: Baneblade "Ghal-Maraz": Baneblade "Excalibur" (based on "Tank Girl"): Baneblade Mjolinir: ... that took longer than expected...

Amazing how Pac-Man managed to stay around for over 38000 years...

Indeed I did Walrus... *ping* sorted that now Syphon - Pac-Man is forever Now, not quite up to the speed I'd be comfortable with given the fast approaching deadline, but here's the HWS from yellow Platoon completed: Also realised I missed off my earlier post about what was on the painting schedule - the second Steel Legion infantry squad... so that's 29 infantry to do in 9 days... plus the vehicles... ok...

Those remind me of terrorists soooooooo much ;D
It can be done Gabriel, it just means seclusion and a cramped painting posture for a little over a week...

The only issue is that with 6 kids and sunny weather, I'm only in the house in the evenings. And most of the evening must be spent snuggling my wife (it's also exhausting chasing after that many kids...). But YES! It will be done...

Could we please see some more shots of this group: close ups and individual minis, please? They look awesome! I especially like your use of Necromunda pieces!

No problem Trooper! Now for some good news and some bad news... Good news - the first five models from yellow platoons last squad are done: So just five more to go! Bad news - I have sadly come to the realisation that there simply isn't sufficient time for me to finish of the last five members of that squad and get the nine stormies done in time for Saturdays get together . Only having a scant few hours in the evening available for painting, combined with tomorrow being set aside to finish of the last five from yellow platoon would leave only friday to paint the stormies - and on Friday I still have to take the kids to their grans house (a two hour round trip). So... sadly I shall fail... but still, getting roughly 25 models done in 5 days was pretty groovy!
