Pretty sweet dreadknight. Too bad the codex is barely shown.
I also saw some info on the assassins which are supposedly in there. Not sure how reliable the source was and i didn't copy and paste it so i can't totally remember. I think the eversor assassin got nerfed though and only has a lightning claw among other things. The shield breaker on the vindicare assassin now removes invulnerable saves permanently from models as well as still able to choose which models to shoot at. The callidus has some leadership check type shooting ability or something. Her c'tan phase blade also gives instant death now and i think it's a power weapon. Not entirely sure if i like the changes if they're even actually real.

I don't understand the point of the Dreadknight. We already have multiple different varietes of Dreadnought. Why do we need a Dreadknight?

The Space Guppy is indeed usable in the GK list, I saw that in the latest WD.

Theres a thing in the back if this months white dwarf, with a pic of some silver storm ravens, so no doubt we'll get a bit more info from GW soon

I don't understand the point of the Dreadknight. We already have multiple different varietes of Dreadnought. Why do we need a Dreadknight? Maybe they're like the titan knights, from the Rogue trader era. Remember the Heresy novel, Mechanicus?

It's probably just a Furioso with a Dreadnought Nemesis Force Weapon and a Psychic Hood. Maybe also a Psycannon or Incinerator.

That would be really, really stupid and myself and hopefully others included would rage against it.

Just because it's stupid doesn't mean that GW won't do it because they think it's cool.

According to a leaked document which I've seen the Dreadknight is kind of like a Pentitent Engine on crack, with a Grey Knight as the pilot. Apparently, only GKs with formidable willpower and exceptional reflexes are allowed to pilot the Dreadknight, because it is quite a demanding machine to operate. The Dreadknight was built specifically to fight against greater daemons.

Are Grey Knights allowed to take crack? What about their vows of purity and all?

Exitus acta probat, as long as the enemies of the emperor are defeated it doesn't matter if their souls are damned.

PLASTIC GREY KNIGHT! ;D I may have to get some of these, although I will say the Dreadknight looks a little...different...

Indeed. If FW don't release a "closed crew compartment" or similar then they are going to be losing out on money..

That is the most non-gamesworkshop model they have ever produced. It has no precedent in the range. It looks fornicateing terrible.
The rest of the range is pretty good.

The model range actually looks fairly similar but then i haven't taken a good look at a grey knight in a while. I enjoy that they're all in plastic though and that either they have one set which is hugely customizable or just multiple plastic sets. Either way it's a win. Like you guys i thought the dreadknight looked stupid but the idea is awesome. At least it's not as bad as the storm raven in my opinion. If i did start out with grey knights the teleporting ones with power armor sound nice to me. The ones that are basically jetpackers with a special teleport that throws them 30" up once per game. Then they have an ability which screws with deepstriking. Funny how only these troops and terminators are troops choices. I never thought i'd see an army which is almost forced to be so elite. I'm liking most of what i see but the inquisitor retinue didn't thrill me for some reason. Somewhat wondering about some of the weapons they can use and maybe an interesting retinue combo. To me the retinue was the one weakness of the codex. Everything else in there is awesome.

I like the dreadknight, then again I think that models just keep getting better from FW. I never understood all the stormraven hate for instance. One complaint is that the thunderhammer is far too small, but that is easy to fix. I like this shot:

Yeah well if i really wanted to see the grey knight in the dreadknight a certain way i could imagine a baby or toddler strapped into something that holds them up by their chest and crotch and they can use it to bounce up and down with. It makes him look like an over-sized baby and that's not a good look for a grey knight.
I will say this though the weapons are cool looking and i can even deal with the armor. I just wish the grey knight was more enclosed. I suppose it could work even if he's not enclosed but it just looks odd the way the model looks. Maybe it's just one of those things. There's quite a few models i used to not like at first sight even if i love some just by looking at them. No matter how bad it is it couldn't be as bad as the storm raven but at least the storm raven look very marine-esque and it is about being useful not pretty.

I would quite like to see a diorama with one of these things being held down by a tyranid swarm whilst the pilot is ripped apart, I suppose that is just me though.
