I hate that Dreadknight, if they thought more on how to have someone pilot it then it might look better. It just makes sense to me at the moment. A Space Marine in full Terminator Armour just looks plain stupid as a pilot.

I would quite like to see a diorama with one of these things being held down by a tyranid swarm whilst the pilot is ripped apart, I suppose that is just me though. I would quite like to see a diorama with one of these things being held down by a nurgling horde whilst the pilot is ripped apart, I suppose that is just me though. FTFY: Now its more inline with the fluff.

In the fluff these guys would be almost freaking invincible. Chances are 40 of them could wipe out a big splinter fleet no problem. However you'd probably need a few companies to face and wipe out an entire hive fleet. I bet they could do it though. Don't fornicate with grey knights! They will tear you a new [not a very nice person]! They can have a lot of heavy weapons too. Imagine incinerators and all that stuff and they're all psykers. God they'd just waste everything.

Guardsmen lol. I would just like to see it happen. Being held down by nork deddog or yarrick while guardsmen do dirty things to him . I like psilencer and the other new weapons. I enjoy how we have more weapon options besides halberds and each one does something unique. Halberds have +2 initiative. Once you add psychic powers like hammerhand to it and other stuff suddenly it's even scarier. Personally i think an initiative boost is awesome. Hey guess what your wyches and my grey knights they strike simo . Oh and we're faster than your warriors. I think that'd just royally urine off a dark eldar, eldar or nid player. Oh yeah and guess what grey knight nemesis force weapons go through all armor and possibly do more. Imagine that in combat.

But dont forget that grey knights will be heavily outnumbered at all times, so it is not that one sided.

But dont forget that grey knights will be heavily outnumbered at all times, so it is not that one sided. If that's the case i can use all my heavy armor and special weapons. My favorite part however is against a horde i can use the purgation squad (the 'cleansing flame' power) and it'd get rid of a ton of guys before i just waste the rest with my fearless unit. This is even before shooting. Btw apparently the strike squad also has a more elite version. I think the more elite version are the ones with the personal teleporters. Ymmot (M.I.A): That's actually a good question but if you stay out of range and shoot their psyker leaders to death you should be fine. Besides the vindicare assassin might still be good and this isn't even counting how most grey knight special/heavy weapons ignore inv. saves and guess what saves zoanthropes have now ? As far as fluff goes the ultramarines had a psyker leader touch the hive mind and not go insane. If a mere ultramarine psyker leader can do it then the bigger psyker leaders of the grey knights can do it too. That is a good question though as it might screw up their psychic powers. However grey knights have more than psychic powers even if pretty much everything in this new book has a psychic power.

The Ultramarine codex says that is it only a possibility that Varro Tigurius touched the hive mind, it then goes on to say that if he did, it would prove him to be the most powerful psyker in the Imperium.
Yes, every grey knight is a psyker,
but quality and quantity are not related...
but yeah, they're Grey Knights...so they're mostly the best. However, that doesn't mean there aren't a few guys in the galaxy that are better.

Hmmm, I think that bodyguards (or Nork) will definitely be better once people start taking vindicares all over the place. You may be able to assign wounds to our commander but there is nothing stopping "Look out sir!".

That Dreadknight roxxors my boxxors. I love it. I am going to go with "specifically made suit to operate one of these" suits, as opposed to actual power armour of some sort =/
Ahaha, SPIN THAT DREADKNIGHT

The jokaero as well as a new hero have shown up (the purifier leader with the good stats and crappy sword that screw him over). It's such a shame that sword does nothing. It's a waste of a sword. He may as well get some awesome purity powers or divinity stuff from holding that sword. I dunno i just wish it did something. It feels so stupid he wields a weapon that actually makes his enemies stronger. What's the point of taking him even with some of his stats? Anyway here's the jokaero: www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440160a&prodId=prod1140066a

I don't know, Crowe looks pretty good to me. As long as he doesn't get charged that is. Who can say no to 4+ rending?

Meh how many attacks does he have? Besides it's rending which means not a power weapon. I'm also pretty sure if it rends it doesn't always wound but i could be wrong. If i'm wrong and it wounds whenever it rends then yeah it's good. I've just never seen anything which wasn't a 6 to rend and usually in that case it wounds anyway.

I wanted to post the Peter Griffin "Planet of the Apes" how many dirty, stinking apes does it take to change a light bulb clip, but unfortunately couldn't find one. That Jokaero mini just looks... awful.

Sadly though, as awful looking as some may think, and as... "wrong" (I think is the word) as others might think, going by the fluff descriptions of the creatures, it's actually quite accurate. Though I think I'd have prefered a more... robust (read: Fat) physical appearance.
Regardless, I think one of those models that's unlikely to get used. The rules I read for it (in the sneak peak codex at GW) seem a little... too random? for them the be reliably useful (like the rules for possessed marines in the chaos codex).

Too random Lupus? The things are mini obliterators. I think we will see an entire army of these things in chimera before too long.

It's more of an orangutan not a gorilla. I dunno i think GW has made far worse models recently. To be fair though GW has made a lot of awesome models too though. The ever so sexy possessed marines come to mind .

I don't think it looks bad. I actually like how it looks, and would be more then willing to use them on the table, nothing with having a LasCannon one turn, and a Multi-Melta the next, along with a nifty plot hook model for those that play Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, or Death Watch, that use the grid+models to describe the scene and run combat. Imagine a Rogue Trader with one of those for personally making him Digital Weapons, or fixing his ship and showing the Mechanicus how its done. Lol.

Random in the sense that, prior to the game starting, you don't know what they are going to have. They could turn out to have super lascannon weapons... they could turn out to have basically "ornately engraved" laspistols... At least that's the impression I got from a quick browse of the shop codex.
