I know my categories aren't that great but I kept running out of text, however, when you vote please list your kit.
This should be interesting.
Dordock etc., ect., etc.,
Oh yeah, Can't ask you to list your squad if I don't:
CCS- (Regimental Standard, 3x Grenade Launchers, Power Sword, Plasma Pistol)

Or
3 plasma+medic or 4 plasma+carapace and usually a chimera(not cheap, and a dime a dozen.)

Usually, I run the traditional x3 Plas Medic in the Chimera (no Pace, Plasma Pistol on the officer instead), but I've been trying out 3 meltas, a Medic, and a Pfist.

I put "Other" because I've actually got several. I've mostly used either a generalist CCS (PowerFist, Standard, Vox, Flamer, Astropath, OotF), or the usual Plasma Death Squad.
I'm looking at a Straken Build (Straken, 2 Bodyguards, 3 Meltas, Vox, Carapace, maybe a couple other Advisors if the Army needs 'em, maybe a Priest), or some kind of Shooty Build including a MoO just for kicks in the future.

Suppose mine would fit in the front liners category - regimental (well, I call it company) standard, plasma pistol/power sword commander, vox unit, and all with laspistol/close combat weapon. I like to think of them as equipped with lasguns aswell, but meh...

I field two of them in any given game: one section (my command section) is outfitted with an astropath, carapace and a Chimera, and the other (my mission team) has four meltas, carapace and krak grenades, and mounted in a Valkyrie wing pair along with a supporting carapace plasma vet squad. Thus why I chose "other."

Mine is the plasma squad of doom, 3 plasmas, medic, plasma pistol, and chimera. Drive-by plasma fun.

My command squad is usually a front line one. Its got a regimental standard and vox. It follows closely behind my troops to give them orders.

I go with plasma, highest rank gets the best toys.
Plasma pistol and power sword, 3x plasma gun and vox, all in a chimera with a stubber, laser and flamer. If needed i will add some advisors for reserve medling.

I guess you'd call mine a Front Line, well as frontline as it gets in a full mech. cavalry unit.
Company Command Squad w/Power Weapon, Plasma Pistol,Medi-pack, Vox-caster, Regimental Standard, Plasma gun & Chimera w/ Dozer blade, TL Heavy Bolter turret, Hullmount Heavy Bolter.
They generaly stick with the 2nd Platoon who babysit the home objective with Missle Launchers & Autocannons. While Al'rahem takes his platoon 'round the side.

Officer gets a power sword, squad gets a mortar and a vox. Runs as an order machine and last ditch counter-charge unit. Is effective, and cheap.

I only started playing IG a little while ago and with the help of Reds and Royals I was able to put together a pretty competitive list with plasma death fury CCS. However I thought it would be cool to try something new and moved to the Fiery Doom command squads I have three command squads (1 CCS, and 2PCS) with flamers/ heavy flamers and have been sending all my opponents to a fiery grave.

Lascannon, vox, and Astropath for me. That twin-linked BS4 lascannon is nice. I really only need my CCS to live until my reserves come in, if they snipe a tank or something great.

My company command squad has medic, reg standard, heavy flamer, plasma, power sword, and they go in a valk with my 3x demo charge spec wep squad. It usually does pretty well.

I don't believe that you can put two squads inside a single transport can you? Not unless it is a superheavy.

Oh, I thought that as long as it was under the max transport capacity you're good...I don't have my rulebook with me atm, so I can't check

I outfit my company command squad with what a real world company leader would probably have.
My Major or Colonel (rank not important) carries a nice pistol (a plasma pistol in 40k), and then I have a heavy weapon team, or a special weapon, and advisors that lend to moral

I typically take GLs, reg. standard and a vox (or not, depending on points). This tends to work for orders, to the troops and keeping my blob in the fight.

I like it fluffy, regimental standard first and the squad comes around. Next i put a plasma, who did get hot every single game! ;D
Next the master of ordinance, and the bodyguards. It depends on the scenario but next i throw in a naval officer or maybe an astropath.
Now... i have an idea, which I think isn't so bad, because my master of ordinance proved to be a great upgrade. I'll put another command squad in my army. Another master of ordinance an 4 snipers.
What do you think?

Company (Regimental) standard, and a trio of meltaguns. Plasma pistol and a Powerfist on the Commander, Carapace all around. Heavy, survivable and often an unpleasant surprise to anyone trying to go around the veteran-screen of doom.

Usually i go with power sword, melta gun, standard, medi-pack and vox, with a master of fleet due my fear of genestealers and their ability to go through my guard like hot knives through children.
