Of course! I'm sure I wasn't the first to think of it anyway. I recommend contact lens boxes for the cardboard, a really delicately planned box layout with support folds and all, followed by a shhitload of frustrated superglue when it doesn't work out

Gah, I love these conversions! I hope you don't mind that I am probably going to steal the flamer to shotgun idea.

Clearly the box contains a cloaking device! Otherwise, how would he be able to sneak around unseen?

I think it works only cause his enemies can't believe anyone would be dumb enough to walk towards them hiding under a box! Cheers again for the compliments guys, so glad people like it ;D tankshock - Of course you can use it, I'll see if i can find a better angle for you EDIT - Ok, here we go. Excuse the godawful painting, this was only around the 5th guy i ever painted and I didn't notice how bad it was when i gave him the fist and repainted his face The flamer conversiony bit is pretty obvious, but the shells, if you want to use them, come off the HB ammo box on the HW sprue. Hopefully you have that lying around somewhere!

Haha, thanks again! My next project is some motorbike mounted rough riders (and it's not those scout bikes everyone does), but they won't be up for a while, as I'm away from my models for a month or two while I do a Summer project abroad Will post em when they're done though!

Fantastic stuff mate! Great to see a lot of effort is going into every model, its something more people should take the time to do.
Could someone please explain to me the funnyness/relevance of 'the orange'?
Also excellent to see your already getting the boys into the action! (stats on your sig)

What kind of bikes are you thinking of using then? I agree with not using the scout bikes as they would seem to bulky for an IG soldier to get around on.

@tridman - Thank you! The box / Sly thing is from Metal Gear Solid, a stealth game where one of the options that very rarely worked was to move around hiding under a cardboard box. Like so: I tried to make Sly's one look kind of similar ;D @scout - I found some resin bikes from a site someone else posted that fit the scale perfectly and are waaaay skinnier than the scout ones. There's an (unfinished) mockup I made below. Really looking forward to putting these together now that I've got all the parts - really stating to wish I'd bought my models along

Scarper. It's funny, because I went to the same website in the last week or so, and they were there then too. I wonder what has happened?

I bought 10 a few weeks back (and got 4 free ones too!), and it took them a while to get to me, so maybe they're just down cause they're out of stock or something. I'll be keeping an eye on the site

Ok guys, I've finished up the first request from my 'join the Remnants' thread ( here, if you haven't seen it already - and honestly, what could you possibly have been looking at that was more interesting?). So, I present to you Sgt. Willem Ackman, as per request I had another picture, but apparently I just exceeded my internet cafe bandwidth, so... uh, whoops. Alright, yes the hair is awful, but it's my first attempt, so go easy. Please note the left handedness, dirty blonde long hair, iPod thing , and I know I said no carapace, so I gave you a bash at improvised extra armour. Oooh, and the flat topped sword too. Hope you like! There's more to come, but I'm a slow worker C&C appreciated! EDIT: Forgot to link the link. Doh! EDITEDIT: Put in the extra photo

MOULD LINES AFDSAGDFSFSG I will continue to hound you on this until you stop - it lets your work down I really like the base, and the face is good too. The eyes could do with being a little smaller, and another wash but it's good. I think it's time for you to take the next step, and move into ... highlighting. If you want advice, just ask. ( and you forgot to inclue the link in the 1st paragraph You got it )

What do you mean the hair is awful, it's good! And your painting has improved from your earlier models. Even better it actually looks like WILLEM. But yeah, the eyes could be a tad smaller.

Actually, going by date, I think I was the first person to give a request for a guy in the Remnants. Do you have a pic of BurninatorRequiem?
