The flash git with the kustom mega blasta needs a bit of work to make that gun look right. Could you model the other arm to support it in a two hand hold?

I love the other gitz.. the drum fed machine cannon looks great!

The wingy bits will help tie it in with all those storm kanz that will get finished at some point. That or they are aerials for helping to generate the kustom forcefield.

The Flash git is from March last year. I ended up adding a bipod from the IG heavy weapon team.

Speedy painting there; it's looking great. Because its so big you could mount a Bad Moonz banner on the top to act as the focal point for the army and go nuts with freehanding a flag.

Actually I am really tempted to get another one and kitbash the body with a tank (like the rhino body one on he Waaagh), maybe stick a battlewagon beak on the front, and build a different head and at least one arm. Then use the parts I saved to make a ruined Gorkanaut.

Finally painted my DV Chaos Lord, Lord Stag Thruster the Unworthy. I'm not sure about basing him just yet, I'll wait for the next Chaos release to see if they change base size. I actually have two sets of DV chaos units so I could either use the other Lord for an alternate colour scheme, maybe more nurgley. Or I could turn him into a casualty for when The Unworthy inevitably falls during a game.

Thanks. I'm not sure about the brass demon facce on his belly plate though. Do you think I should put a bit more shine on the top left of it and maybe make the eyes golden? It might be a bit over done since there are already a lot of eyes on the armour.


And some pics of some Dark Eldar models. I used these two as a test for two different styles for painting armour.





Right now I'm leaning towards the silver washed with purple look. But I'm open to feedback in general.

I agree the face should be brightened up a bit. Maybe some light green highlights on the eyebrows and make the eyes orange-yellow like the other eyes.

Of the 2 dark eldar armours I prefer the second picture; the one next to the guardsman. Presumably that's the purple washed over silver?

Will the Eldar be Ork/ Chaos allies or their own army?

Finally painting some of the assassins I picked up before GW launched Finecast. To be honest the biggest thing holding the other three back is working out how to base them. It needs to be something good but it has to fit on the small base.

Built the OIrruk Megaboss. The model is really large for his size! Quite bulky without being silly big.

when I get this konverted up it will either be filling the role of a Wazadakka fancy plane (or whatever the mek planes are called), or as RedsandRoyals suggested, a looted Marauder bomber.



Having looked over the current crunch for Ork and Marine flyers and SM AA I must admit I don't really have much faith in Ork air units to do much of anything right now so I will also be increasing my own Ork AA stuff by putting together 4+ new Traktor kannons which I've got most of the parts for now.

The advantage of the tie bomber as a looted aircraft will be when it crashes, it will hopefully plow into a lot of enemy units, given it's size.
